Who else here getting fit while crypto is shitting the bed? Taking some thermogenic fat burners and I've lost about 20 pounds so far doing an hour or two of cardio every day. Once I'm thin I plan to begin bulking on muscle. Aiming for otttermode aesthetic.

Don't be a moron, lift now. Putting on muscle is a lot harder than losing weight, lifting while you lose weight will save you months (maybe over a year) of lifting later.

That's not how lifting works, you can't just go the gym everyday for 6 hours and get huge even while taking test. It's a much longer process. Even going to the gym to lift 3 days a week for an hour will save months of lifting after you cut.

I'll share my story since y'all doing the same.

I'm working on my PhD dissertation and spending 12+ hours a day on the computer, writing and doing research (and trading shitcoins whenever possible).

I've had pain in my right shoulder for two years, but in the past 4 months, the pain increased to unbearable levels. So I spent a few hours reading about it and realized that the pain probably stemmed from my poor posture (sitting in front of the computer holding the mouse the right arm away from the body). I went to the gym last Saturday and spent 40 minutes doing shoulder exercises and 20 minutes doing cardio. The result? The shoulder pain is gone for good.

It only took 40 minutes to solve a 2-year problem. I hope my story helps to motivate my Jow Forums bros. We're all gonna make it.

Do Starting Strength, lift 3x a week doing compound lifts until you learn your way around a barbell. Give it a few months and if you want to work out more just add yoga and/or some cardio in between lifting days or on weekends

I concur with calorie counting, keep it under 2k and you'll be good however you shouldn't starve yourself all day - it can potentially damage your organs such as kidneys and liver.

Mix with heavy lifting and you'll drop weight easily. I did it recently and dropped 5 kilos over a month and a bit.

When Im stressed (constantly) i forget about food, i skip meals. 2500kcal per day meme is so shit. When mu trainer said I shpuld calculate my intake, I found out I was eating 1000kcal a day. Pushing it to 2500 kcal felt like a feeding torture. I did gain 10 kg tho.
Also this "i used to be thin, but then i stopped working out". When I stopped working put, I slowly lpst those 10 kg in the span of a year.
Last weekend I went out with a plump person. We go to junk cafe. They take a burger, fries, soda. Me too. We finish, and then this fat fuck goes "I wanna get smt else, a pie and ice cream, maybe".
