Nah, we have our own jet of poo fighter.

Many wanted to, but thank god we are poor enough.

this

Not yet

>the 1st crash
its about damn time
thats an insanely good record

Although it's not the first one to be "out of combat".

we did because 5th gens are the only alternative

We have 42.
The own country development has been disturbed.

thats a lot of goyim taxpayer money that went up in smoke. :^)

And these are the people were relying on to invent our flying cars.....pffff!

>damage control

seriously tho what are you gonna buy instead of f-35? a fucking 4th gen multirole in this day and age?

Im still waiting for the video of it crashing being leaked, bet it was something embarrassing like the flaps just flew off.

Are there still dumb people who can't grasp the reality that F-35 is the best multirole aircraft in existance today?
I would love to say that gripen is a good multirole plane but the standards have changed since F-35 came along.

>It's the plane's fault and not the pilot's

>it has a bigger number, therefore it is better.

>dumbass who know nothing about aircrafts and are in this thread just for the memes

no its better because its a fucking stealth
gripen is still a good multirole plane, not everyone can afford f-35s

>best multirole
>multirole
>mediocre in every role

Attached: 4001132-NOC02.jpg (600x600, 30K)

>muh stealth

The opposition parties and activists will protest it.

Attached: fx9d5ubi.jpg (630x354, 61K)

>stealth
>put some edges on an aircraft and put black spraypaint on
>call it stealth
topkek

>damage control

>gets shot down BVR
>s-stealth is o-overated!
atleast your country dont even need stealth, who you gonna use it aginst anyway, buncha cartels

u do know those jets are hardwired to pentagon servers and if in any event u worst koreans were to somehow rebel against you americanoid masters and attempt to use them for self defense all they have to do is type in a command and those things are overpriced paper weights?

Shoulda just bought from China

Attached: china jet.jpg (800x450, 35K)

probobly why we're developing our own shit instead of relying on america 24/7 so were fucking fine

Buying the F35 literally means you don't feel threatened and want good goy points.
It is not even me who says that but an estonian colonel.

It used to be good, and it is still good only because most of the world still has not gotten a 5th gen multirole yet. However gripen has been outperformed by F35 in every tests, and so has all other 4th gen planes. It's time we build a new aircraft desu, gripen can't compete when the world embraces 5th gen. Soon the russians will have a 5th gen too.

I knew it, you know nothing

GIVE OUR F-35S BURGERS!!!!!!! WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT WE ALSO BOUGHT S-400S ;);)

Attached: (5).jpg (1298x1316, 254K)

im sure saab is more than capable of building a good next generation multirole.
and yea the leaf is a faggot

>Shoulda just bought from China
If you crack open an f-35, you'll see a lot of "made in China" labels. topkek

It's not like AWACS doesn't exist.

USA is even developing 6th gen, lmao. It will take a long time tho, but that just says it all, just how old 4th gen really is

f-35 is good, it's just a .0 version

>ror'd

Attached: gook'd.jpg (668x665, 96K)

>the leaf is a faggot
>fell for the stubby winged f-35 that can't fly

My buddy works on these as a cat 4 engineer. All he says is there's thousands and thousands of people working around the clock for many years to create these machines. Alot of people spend their entire lives working on them, in an attempt to generate a fighting system with no faults.

It's apparently serious enough that if you even have any foreign immediate family member they won't let you work on the mid-tier things. You're stuck as a peon. Doesn't matter if it's Jose Gonzales who's lived here for 35 years and is your brother in law, they won't let you near it.

holyshit are you dumb
even with AWACS 4th gens are gonna get detected first always, and not every engagement includes AWACS you fuckin retard, not to mention survivability aginst of ground to air missiles making F-35s literally safer for bombing runs compared to 4th gen

>my gook ass is on fire rororororror

Yeah yeah keep shilling your lockmart moneypit.

>It's apparently serious enough that if you even have any foreign immediate family member they won't let you work on the mid-tier things.

So I guess you wont be hired to work on em if you're a none-jew? Wheeew goyim, now dats job security!! OY VEY!!!

Does your job and presence in South Korea depend on this moneypit? toplmao

lol faggot cant even afford the global standard, imagine being so butthurt about it

These brainlets are trolling you, they are probably quite aware of how wrong they are but they will just continue just for the sake of the memes.

יְשַׁר כֹּחַ

They dont crash because theyre rarely functional enough to take off in the first place

Did the guy pilot eject out?

Do you understand how hard it is to maintain a plane, nevertheless a performance jet that has hundreds of sensors and computers on it?

the ejection lever wedges a vibrating dick up your anus and you die with the plane a homosexual and go straight to hell.

Why did they produce so many if it is still not polished?

because suckers are born every days

>Too expensive
>Too useless for our doctrine
I think we are going for the same plane the Brazilians just got
if not some updated version of the F16

Attached: 1519360726862.png (600x450, 310K)

Hopefully feasible enough that they can occasionally take off for a mission and not be grounded for technical faults when the time comes

>spends most of the time grounded because of malfunctions
lol didn't know

MIC and Congress wanted their shekels for their new Yacht.

Are you stupid? There's only been one accident on an f35 that caused it to fail to takeoff. Israelis are flying them every day.

why is there korean on the top

They have fixed issues by now, f-16 had issues too. f-18 had as well.

It would be bad for their business if they had to shut down the production line and fire/reassign all the people. Quality would probably also suffer, since they would lose a lot of knowhow.
There are many outstanding orders for the plane, and it's already been through a lot of testing and declared various shades of operational in several countries, so it's not like they're out of work or the plane is dysfunctional. But at this stage they wouldn't shut down the production line even if was pushing out certified lemons. They'd just have to work harder to appease their buyers enough to prevent order cancellations and planes being taken out of service earlier than expected.
Now, since the Western world pretty much put all its chips on the F-35, it's not like they can go buy a 5th gen fighter from someone else. The F-35 is literally too big to fail. They'll all just have to suck it, because the alternative would be to try and throw together a new 5th gen fighter program while Russia's Su-57's start coming online.

So why did it crash?

Didn't a Israeli F-35 got grounded forever because of "birdstrike"?

>because the alternative would be to try and throw together a new 5th gen fighter program
Germany and France plan to do that.

It's dead, Jim.

t. armchair general

I don't know.
All other aircrafts have had crashes.

>three fiddy posting

We have F-16s the same that defeated the F-35 in the simulations

Based storks.

Do they have it there?

Yes. They dwell here on the way back from wintering in Africa. There's actually a lot of bird traffic over the country due to migration, since it's the most convenient overland path for birds passing between Africa and Europe.
There's a bird radar near Jerusalem that helps track this traffic to held avoid birdstrike.
birds.org.il/en/tracking-methods-latroon.aspx

damage control

Thought they just crossed the mditerranean.

>Su-57 dead

where do you read this? business insider?

The first contract is already signed and they are waiting for new engines, but we wont see many numbers in the next years.

also Indias Su-57 is still on work

defenseworld.net/news/23231/With_New_Engine__Russia_to_Re_pitch_Su_57_Stealth_Fighter_Jet_to_India

I don't know why you're acting superior considering the RCAF is still using 40 year old CF-18's, and our government has been wishy washy as fuck about picking a replacement.

>harper govt signs us up for f35 program
>turdeau govt pulls us out for no fucking reason
>claims we'll hold a competition for the best fighter (even though the F35 would just win anyway)
>top military brass is all supportive of F35
>competition STILL hasn't even been held, so our air force is just in limbo using old planes.

Similar case, but with our Navy.

Some of them do, depending on the species and where they winter.
Storks in western Africa hop over Gibraltar, but those to the east tend to go over Israel.

Wasn’t the F-16 seen as bad etc too upon introduction?

This thread needs Rafale mentionned at LEAST once
Buy some btw

Attached: RAFALE.jpg (1600x1066, 242K)

Yes

And nowadays it’s a staple of western airforces and seen as a good plane

F-35 isn't actually seen as a bad plane tho, it's widely known by experts that it's better than all other multirole planes, it just seems that int is obsessed about this meme that they somehow are "bad" planes.

It is not bad, it is just incredibly expensive for any country that is not the USA.
For bombing sandniggers, you don't need such an advanced plane.
If you are afraid of Russia, it is better to upgrade other part of your army than buying a few F35.
defensenews.com/air/2018/02/01/pentagon-cant-afford-the-sustainment-costs-on-f-35-lord-says/

>If you are woke about Russia, it is better to upgrade other part of your army than buying a few F35.
Do you mean it would be better generally to invest in other stuff than airforce against Russia or just not the F-35? Care to elaborate either way?

No

>forcesoperations.com/vues-destonie-il-faut-investir-dans-lartillerie/
>Selon lui, il ne faut pas s’inspirer de l’allié américain qui est le seul à avoir le « luxe » de disposer d’une force aérienne suffisante pour appuyer ses forces terrestres
According to him (Kaarel Mäesalu), only the US can afford an air force strong enough to support its land troops.

He is saying to buy CAESAR or Archer artilleries.

Pls buy, cargo prop planes are so 1950's.

Attached: file.png (1200x800, 1.33M)

Well, that wasn't much of an elaboration. Ceasar is a soft vehicle like Archer and on top of that Norwegians wouldn't even buy archer. Both are also wheeled with less tactical manoeuvrability, more strategic but that's not useful against Russia.

Basically the only problem with Russia is their air force. If you can prevent them from gaining air dominance, it's simple to counter the land component.

>it's simple to counter the land component
This is exactly how you lost the Winter war.

He warned you and died anyway

Attached: Screenshot_1.jpg (766x640, 75K)

pls invest

Attached: Team-Tempest.jpg?ssl=1.jpg (2000x1415, 218K)

Because they've spent over a TRILLION dollars developing this thing, if they don't start shitting out planes to all the countries pouring money into this ASAP everyone is going to pull out.

i pulled out of your mum

Kinda rude tb h, she like creampies.

Was it a stealth mission?

>almost fell for the F-35 meme
>fell for the Super Hornet meme instead
I WANT TO WORK ON A GRIPEN REEEEEE

Back in the days planes were made of fabric and men were made of iron.

Fokker Eindeckers would be easily maintained and mass produced. Their top speed would only be half of the stall speed of any enemy's modern fighters. Their radar trace and thermal trace would be like those of a lawnmower meaning the plane is basically invisible. Fabric and wooden structure would let even explosive shells through cleanly. Without a straight hit in some vulnerable part or the pilot, no projectiles would do worse damage than a small hole. Considering the enemy pilot would even have time to aim before whooshing past the target. Or managed not to crash after slowing down too much.

Arming the planes with a pair of stingers they would have enough fire power to exploit their other advantages without adding too much weight. Thanks to the simplicity of the contraption superior numbers could also be achieved.

As long as the enemy on the ground wouldn't throw anything worse than a mean look. Pine cones shot with a slingshot would bee too much for the Eindecker.

Attached: Fokker_M5K-MG_E5-15.jpg (1920x766, 203K)

F35 is much cheaper now than when the news started blasting it. I think the F-35A is like 90 million each or something now? Not the 200 million each it was when it entered production.

Don't get me wrong, 90 million is still a lot when we were buying F16s at like 30 million, but new shit costs a lot of money. Once upon a time, F16s were fucking expensive just coming out of an overpriced and bloated R&D budget too.

Actually, I can't think of any military jet that was on budget and cheap when introduced. This shit happens every fucking time, on every fucking plane, you'd think people would expect it by now.
