What does NANO actually do? I know it's a fast currency but so are lots of other cryptos that manage to be fast and free while also incorporating lots of other features that NANO doesn't include. So seriously, what's the actual point of NANO?

XRP, ARK, SKY and XLM also have transaction times of a few seconds. EOS too when it goes mainnet. But those coins are all complete platforms that can be used for more than just currency transactions. So what's the advantage of NANO?

I agree that XRP, EOS and XLM are not as decentralized as some currencies, buy they're decentralised enough to not really matter. For example, XRP has over 150 validator nodes...
