It's not really that bad, just a lot worse than it ought be. Mainly down to corrupt politicians and easy manipulated Baby Boomers privatising our infrasture and letting the rest kind of go to shit a bit. There are also housing and work issues due to these same two social classes (with a large overlap in age demographics).

Sounds more like propaganda than anything in reality, unless I've been around different people all my life. Most people tend to complain about how everything is going to shit because various reasons (nothing to do with their own actions, though) and the government not pandering to their particular issue.

The majority of the people who migrate here are from the UK, desu.
Migrants tend to end up near the cities so sometimes they become fearmongering fuel for right wing radio propagandists but all it all it isn't really much of a hot button issue in the daily lives of people.

It's a complicated question. Immigrants from European countries and the Americas generally attempt to integrate and so on. For the most part, they WANT to be Australians. Immigrants from Africa are a mixed bag and you can get some decent ones but overall many of them find that they don't even need to work when they can get indefinite welfare and this attitude carries to their children. Immigrants from other places can be here or there.

Now immigrants from the PRC... Fuck em all. Fuck every single one of them. They do not give a shit about Australia. They congregate in their little ethnic ghettos, they do everything to avoid paying tax, as landlords they treat tenants like shit in order to squeeze every last dollar out of them, and they don't even have to learn English because they just remain in their enclaves. People from Hong Kong and South East Asia may or may not be alright but fuck Mainland Chinese. After the boomers have finished their job bringing this country to its knees, the Chinese will ultimately be the ones to take advantage and burrow their little fangs into this place
