I literally have no idea. I've been using the same ISP for over 15 years now and haven't even checked out the competition.
They're complete-no-bullshit, the uptime could very well be classified as 99,9% of the year, they don't have any problems with me hosting a server on a home-user grade connection, they don't have any problems with me torrenting a lot of illegal content.
And I remember when I first got their services and asked if they could host a a public quake 3 CTF server for me - they did, madmen.

Unless you signed up for it within the last few months it is very likely it once started as a 1 or 2 year contract that is now being extended monthly. That is often how contracts work
