JUST HAD MY MOMENT OF EPIPHANY

jesus I just had this moment of complete epiphany while think about that business owner picking Coinbase to process her payments instead of a decentralized "no middle-man" solution like REQUEST NETWORK.

it's clear to me now why crypto will ultimately fail: people NEED A FUCKING MIDDLE MAN. they want to call that middle man if any shit happens and have their money or their assets returned to them. they want to blame someone in case something goes wrong and they are willing to pay for that.

NEETs that never worked or owned a business will say "cut the middle man" "no fees" and other utopian steaming pile of dogshit but the truth is the normal working people, which are 90% of the world population, want to get a phone, make a call, and ask the middle man to solve their problems.

just sold all my bags, request network my ass, decentrilized dogshit my ass, ur just a bunch of jobless sci-fy loving NEETs thinking u understand how the real world work and echo chambering "muh no fees" "cuth the middleman" and other horseshit

it took me two years to realize that but I just did because I'm a smart and talented business owner who would opt to coinbase and a fucking phone number over any "dececentralized you are fucked if anything goes wrong" solution.

cashing out at big profits right now. U NEETs keep the crypo dream alive, I'm pretty sure cryptoCURRENCIES will eventually prevail, all the useless tokens and decentrilized trash meme utility tokens will die

for me, I'll keep a few thousand NANOs only, just fucking sold my other bags
decentralized my fucking penis in your fucking mouth u fucking virgins

no one wants to call anyone, the last thing business want is to hire pajeets to take troubleshooting calls and have boomers ring asking about why X transaction didn't go through

my req stays high tech $10 eoy

ur abviously a useless unproductive NEET
but hey, keep the dream alive

Pretty much.

Add to that any value any cryptocurrency has is just based on the Ponzi model, and literally not a single one can process payments as they say, and are not safe at all.

I don't think it'll be Req that does what it does, but I'd be willing to bet that business owner is itching to cut dependencies out and be completely self-reliant, ASAP. I mean, that's just the smart thing to do in business in general. Reduce expenses and all that jazz. Wait for the next Req.

er no. Most of crypto is garbage - and im literally here to make money and thats it. I couldnt care less if it all goes to zero (which would be hilarious)

No respectable business is going to use garbage written by chinks / eastern euros (that has literally never happened.)

Thats why i own link and skycoin. Also keep in mind that while regular people need middle men for the reasons you stated businesses will jump at the chance to use decentralization because they need efficiency and security offered by decentralization.

The point is that the decentralization means it won't fail in the first place, because there are so many nodes they can't possible all be compromised. Not that I think REQ is any good.

decentralization can still have "support", it would be a niche business opportunity even.

You speek about 90% of the world as if they are in charge of something. They maybe want a middle man but their bosses wont. They wanna maximize their gains and they'll force people to get used to having no middleman.

link is a meme you fukin newfag

A country can run 1-3% more efficient on crypto. Maybe you're just another brainlet who's opinion in swayed by the price. Just bought 100K epiphanies

>which would be hilarious

unironically my attitude towards investing

Priced in

>NEED A FUCKING MIDDLE MAN
All tech solutions of the past ~50 years have been about reducing middlemen, and every step of the way there's idiots like you saying it'll never work:
>Nobody will use a phone without an operator
>Nobody will file taxes on their own
>Nobody will buy collectibles from a stranger online
>Nobody will sell a home without a realtor
>Nobody will get in a random person's car instead of a cab
>Nobody will stay at a stranger's house instead of a hotel
>Nobody will use a self checkout machine

There's a period of discomfort, and then people get over it when they realize the convenience outweighs the loss of hands-holding.

Replace the word "middle-man" with the word "clearing house" and you have the reason why big banks refuse to get into crypto despite their customers requesting to be allowed to do so. No multi-billion dollar multi-national is buying magic internet coins with a proclaimed pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with out cutting out the risk that the rainbow might lead to the edge of a cliff

>Guys that opinion piece in the New York Times about the women who preferred Barnes and Noble over Amazon made me realise why Amazon and e-retail is doomed: people don’t give a shit about saving money and having a more direct shopping experience. They want STORES and EMPLOYEES. Someone to ask about what’s good or what’s popular. If you actually think normies and their grandparents are going to boot up Windows 98 and connect their computer to the World Wide Web using a phone cable to be able to buy a book, all while trusting they aren’t getting scammed, you’re insane.

>Nobody will book a vacation without a travel agent
>Nobody will take a college class online
>Nobody will hire a maid/nanny outside an agency

You get the idea

Brilliant!

rekt?

>I'm a smart and talented business owner
>takes him two years to notice the obvious

Fucking hell...no fucking normie cares about decentralization. The average fking Joe wants some other guy to pick up and clean his mess. The average fking Joe is a stupid fucking prick, don't forget that boiz, ever!
In the end, law compliant, centralized, easy to access and with great UX exchanges/projects will be left, hence, put all your $$$ in NEO you bunch of tards

You basically sold your crypto over a strawman argument. The goal was never to get rid of middlemen. Vitalik actually specifically said this as well but I'm too lazy to find the tweet. The goal is to create smart contract-based middlemen that are more efficient and less prone to mistakes than traditional middlemen.

>nobody will go to blockchain to find hookers online
>nobody will buy porn anonymously
>Nobody will have wierdos delivering fast food to your home
>nobody will sign onto universities online and get their A.S. - B.S. - M.S. from it
>Nobody will legally grow marijuana and sell it to certified pot shops
>nobody would rather fly to the netherlands and eat moon cakes
>Nobody will log onto an anonymously taiwanese shrimping forum and tell all the other fishermen currency loving cock throbs that the next biggest fish is swimming their way and get their baits ready before seccretly netting the fish ahead of everyone ellse.

you guys are right. I am all of the above
