Floridian here (actually from here, and not a transplant)
1. Unforgiving hot+humid Summers
2. High housing costs
3. Theme parks are cool, but tickets and crowds increase by the day with no end in sight
4. Can't swim in or even approach natural bodies of fresh water due to presence of flesh-eating reptiles
5. Rain showers, even light sprinkles, bring traffic to a halt
...so basically, Florida is the same as Australia.
