I can not stand it. im pretty social but jesus christ I haven't made ONE friend at uni so far after a month

and im so fucking anxious about school its legit killing me, i feel you polanon what do you study?

Dont you have some social weeks at the start? It took about a year before i got friends at uni, but i have always been slow at getting friends. If you have some group or connections i wouldnt worry too much. If not, well there are always group projects or aciticy groups

That's why I quit college I so fucking hated commuting and worse yet free time between classes which was usually around 2-3 hours and you can't go home because classes at the end of the day are mandatory and ride takes to much time to get back on time.

my problem is that the train connection from my city to the city i study in is pretty shitty, one train every ~3 hours
it's not that far, but sometimes i have to take the 06:55 train(arrives around 8:00) and i start uni at 09:40
1,5h wasted
then again, i leave uni around 16:30 and the train home is 17:50

i just go eat something or read shit on my kindle

I have this annoying calculus professor who makes strange tests and rage quits on grading them halfway and just crosses everything out and gives you a low grade even if you put the right answers.

I know it was the same for me, I had one train at 14:00 and then didn't have the train until 18:30 I hated all that wasted time I could spent on playing games. I also didn't want to leave my family home because I don't know how to cook do laundry etc.

Why the fuck do universities have to be only in major cities, why can't they be in smaller ones also? It is a big disadvantage for us living in smaller cities.

After I quit uni I was NEET for a year or two best time off my life, could just play games all day and didn't have to worry about anything except house works. Then I found a job at local convenience store it is not the most glamorous job out there but at least I have only 10 minutes to commute from home by car and I finish my 8 hour shift sometimes 7 and don't have to do anything after that like study a shit. Much better than at uni I only wish I didn't have to work 6 days per week but 5 and that pay is higher since I would like to buy myself Switch, gaming PC and new games every month.

I was told I have to go to college to amount to anything. No debt though thankfully.
