I wonder how, specifically, was the question actually worded. It says "dark skin" in one sentence, and "black faces" in the other. Dark skin as in Gypsies, would have very negative sentiments. Dark skin as in Albos, moderately negative. Dark skin as in tanned Croats would be positive since it's fashionable.

But yeah, we're generally ok with blacks, but they're very exotic here. Generally, non-Balkanians are better recieved in the Balkans than other Balkanians from neighbouring countries. And most people are interested in meeting foreigners, especially unusual ones.
