Do I have diabetes?

I was just reading this thread and got kind of scared.
My grandmother always wanted to check my blood sugar levels when I visited her because her mom had diabetes, she has diabetes and her daughter (my mother) has diabetes, I always refused because I hate doctors and anything medicine related, and she is kind of hypochondriac too. I drink a fuckton of liquids like 10 litres+ each day, it's mostly water and tea (with artificial sweeteners, no sugar), sometimes a bottle of 0.5 litre cola or juice. I also piss a lot, easily 20-30 times a day. I'm a bit overweight, lately I've noticed that sometimes my fingers and legs go numb, is it because blood is not reaching them? Also my eyesight has gotten worse lately, and it was always perfect despite me spending so much time in front of PC. But I rarely eat any sweets, I like meaty and cheesy things mostly, and despite drinking a lot it's little sugar, so maybe it's not that bad?
What are the chances that I have diabetes?

get it checked user don't be retarded

just go buy a blood glucose meter at the pharmacy, they're cheap and you can find out immediately without even going into a doctor. however, it does sound like you're already pretty diabetic. i've seen some research lately indicating that artificial sweeteners can do just as much harm as sugar (specifically w/r/t T2 diabetes), so i would cut those out 100% for a while at least.

Get an A1C test done. It's entirely possible. Honestly get a full physical including blood work to be safe.

Kek. You're going to regret drinking 500 ml of sugarwater (includes juice) more than twice a week.

seriously get your glucose levels checked, diabetes is no joke

There are two forms of diabeetus; one that fatties get from being fat where their bodies literally ruin themselves trying to deal with their shitty diet, and a form that just happens due to bad genetics. It's entirely possible you have inherited their bad genetics.

It takes like 30 seconds to test and most clinics will do it for free. Christ I think even our CVS was doing free blood sugar tests at some point. It's like $15 for a meter.

Hello mate. I have diabetes type one and had the same symptoms which I ignored for a long time. I was close to death when I got checked. Do it.

Also yeah you probably have diabetes.

>What are the chances that I have diabetes?
Very,very,very,very good.

>I drink a fuckton of liquids like 10 litres+ each day, it's mostly water and tea (with artificial sweeteners, no sugar), sometimes a bottle of 0.5 litre cola or juice. Holy fuck user. What the fuck. Seriously. You need some basic lifestyle changes.

1) Drink water. No juices, sodas, or tea. 2 liters a day is enough.
2) Reduce the green tea intake drastically. Too much green tea can cause iron deficiency anemia, skeletal fluorosis, and a host of related problems.
3) Lose weight. Your goal is to have a BMI < 24, NO MORE THAN THAT. And don't fucking complain that it's hard to lose weight. Just fucking do it.

>I'm a bit overweight, lately I've noticed that sometimes my fingers and legs go numb, is it because blood is not reaching them?
These are symptoms of diabetes, but that's something that happens in advanced stages of the disease. This might be a circulation problem that could be fixed with regular exercise alone. You should by now have other symptoms. Get some blood work done.

My god that post is proof you can make it but you'll always be a brainlet.

Medical professional here. Don't take most medical advice from here because its terrible

type one diabetes usually manifests in childhood after a viral infection. Also it manifests as diabetic ketoacidosis which OP does not have. Also when people talk about diabetes they almost always mean diabetes mellitus not diabetes insipidus.

best advice.

>1) Drink water. No juices, sodas, or tea. 2 liters a day is enough.
woudn't regular bitter tea be ok? I love tea
also I only drank soda like once per 2 days, I didn't think that amount was any danger
>2) Reduce the green tea intake drastically. Too much green tea can cause iron deficiency anemia, skeletal fluorosis, and a host of related problems.
I don't drink any green tea, just regular brown.

what are the other advanced symptoms?

diabetes is reversible

Symptoms:
Constant trust
Blurred vision
Open wounds

Treatment to reverse it:

Daily take 4 times the 1 recommended dose of mix of amino acids (fit supplements)

Do not eat anything, only water, if you are hungry and cannot take it - vegetables

Eat 1 meal a day, dinner, boiled meat and potatoes, do not overeat. Not roasted, not grilled.

diabetes is essentially clogged up cell receptors, they are clogged up with trans fats and chemicals, it is not the sugar, but for now you have to lay off the sugar since it builds up and cannot be uptaken by the cell receptors

get more exercise and drink unsweetened green tea instead

Yes get checked
Even dead pool hires people with diabetes.
Do let it got in checked

don't get checked, you gonna get keked

doctors are worst than communist isis talibans

>constant trust
?
>blurred vision
that's what happened out of nowhere, maybe it's because of PC but someone wrote in that linked topic that it can be diabetes related nerve damage
>open wounds
I have cut myself several times lately and it healed well

There's literally nothing to discuss. Go to a Doctor and get blood work done. Listing your symptoms here can lead to any and every diagnosis including cancer.

Then change your eating habits.

* thirst for liquids, if they have sugar in them, after you drink , you will get even more thirsty

relax about the nerve damage, it is long story how it happens.

I'm scared of doctors, would rather deal with it myself

the doctors will literally rob you and kill you ded

>TFW not scared of having diabetes because dry food makes me want to puke and I only eat once a day

I don't get it, do diabetics like dry food specifically or something?

This, you should pay Jow Forums a visit

Then you're only option is to eat a whole food plant based diet and switch to just water.

Diabetic here. Everything turns into sugar so your meats and cheese are pumping your sugars up. Any and all carbs will do the same. It doesn’t need to be something loaded with sugar. Even fruit will put you over the edge. Your blood sugar should be between 90-120 consistently. If over your pancreas is not working properly or at all. Go to store and buy a cheap glucose meter. Test yourself 3 times throughout the day. You will know right away.

If your vision is getting worse and fingers are numb you very well could be classified as someone who has had diabetes for a while now. Going to the bathroom like you do doesn’t sound good.

pissing a lot, being thirsty and having an odd sweet taste in your mouth are signs of diabetes. If overweight everything compounds.

Sounds like you have diabetes. Congrats op, you just made your life a lot harder and ensured you will die early, most likely with a couple amputations before you kill-over.

>I drink a fuckton of liquids like 10 litres+ each day
How is this possible? I drink 2 liters and already have to go to the bathroom every hour or so

Because you’re on Jow Forums talking to a bunch of retards

if you have "toxins" in the blood, kidneys will try and flush it out.
The toxin is the glucose, too much of it, kidneys go overtime to flush it, only way to do it is if you have liquids, therefore call is made for thirst.

Glucose isn't a toxin and the kidneys don't process it.

dumb ass shill boomer bot

You know before the modern age, doctors use to drink (and spit) the urine of the patients, and if it is sweet, from the fucking glucose.

>I drink a fuckton of liquids like 10 litres+
definitely beetus

I did gallon of milk + gallon of water a day no problem

Get tat shit checked out. Also 15 min of exercise everyday.

3 reps of 20 squats
3 reps of 20 push ups
1 min of plank
1 mile run

Glucosuria is a complication of diabetes and not a normal bodily function.

are you female ?

You're the one claiming glucose is a toxin.

whether or not you eat sweets has nothing to do with blood sugar levels.
Once I had high blood sugar levels but that was because of stress. Once I got that reduced, everything went back to normal.

Do you notice any skin problems - acne, psoriasis, dermatitis?

Did you read this?

yes, that's exactly what got me scared

Nope. Would you like to backtrack on glucose being a toxin and how the kidneys process it yet?

Or should we apply that logic to everything? Water is also a toxin, dihydrogen monoxide, when consumed in excess, can lead to a fatal electrolyte imbalance.

I make a 2 litre pot of tea, it takes me about 1-2 hours to drink it and then I make another, and yes I piss a lot, twice an hour probably, especially before sleeping I have to go like 5 times because I can't fall asleep if I feel like I have to pee even a little.

20 - 30 times a day is not normal. Obvious indicator of diabetes is to look for the 3 P's- Polydipsia, polyuria and polyphagia. Sounds like you're already checking the polydipsia and polyuria boxes.

...

Really? That's the best you can do? You can't even come back to defend yourself?

Jesus. Just kys cuck.

I checked wiki for type 1 (genetical) diabetes and it says
> extreme thirst and increased fluid intake (especially for cold water and sometimes ice or ice water) are typical for DI.
yeah, all the tea I drink is cold...
but it also says that as long as you keep yourself constantly hydrated then it's nowhere near as dangerous as type 2 diabetes because there's no increased glucose in blood
