Ok Jow Forums bros, looks like it's time for me to give up the crypto dream and move once again move into the real world.
Basically, I wasted my summers/semesters away partying, traveling, and just hanging out. Never bothered to cuck myself with boring internships, or really did anything to plump up my resume to appeal to future employers.
I just graduated last week. A week into playing video games and being a lazy fuck I realize its time for me to get up off my ass and do something, go get something and become a man as cliche as that sounds.
How can I fake shit on my resume effectively so I can get finesse the interviews to make them think I actually am a good candidate? (and I am btw, they just have this criteria of people needing experience for their jobs)
I was thinking about faking internships and jobs overseas in Asia so they could never really call and confirm. I dont think people call references much nowdays either. Idk man. Any of yall professional biz bros got some advice for me?
Studied Finance and International Business. Forgot to add that in there. I have a 3.8 major GPA, and a 3.3 cumulative GPA. I don't remember jack shit from any class though.
I have a friends resume who went all out every summer and got like crazy internships so I'm using his resume template, I was going to put some fake companies and describe my experience there somewhat like he did, but if the employers asked me to talk about it, they'd catch my bluff. So I need a game plan.

you can easily lie about past work experience in your cv, but you need a solid story if u ever get asked about it

Technically and hypothetically, what would happen if they caught me in a lie? Would I face legal trouble?
Joseph Nguyen
its not against the law to lie senpai
if they somehow catch you lying they will just tell u to fuck off
Eli Edwards
depending on the lie they could sue you for any wages you earned while working for them
Jason Perry
This. Be careful though because it's not unheard of for someone who has already been working for a few years to get fired for having lied in the hiring process.
Caleb Richardson
if you do get caught there might be some consequences, e.g. losing your job
if you do decide to lie or inflate past experience in ur cv you should do it with extreme care
Elijah Martin
Okay whatever. I'm gonna be smart and be as slick and thought out as possible. Any one have any good ideas of what I should put on my resume? I'm looking for any finance job to get my foot in the door. I don't have any specific preferences for what I wanna do.
Eli Rogers
in the real world everyone breaks rules. lie. go for it. do not listen to these goody too shoes cucks. they clearly want to stay where they are in life.
lmao just throw your degree in the trash and try over. You're never gonna make it you lazy fucking faggot.
Luke Morris
Hahaha someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Sorry you're having a bad day
Eli Allen
Nope just trying to lay it out as truthfully as I can. How do you expect to compete with smarter kids that have higher GPAs, and got solid internships in second and third year? What makes you special? You might be able to land some bullshit 40k pa back office pleb job but that's about it. Hope you got a solid network that can feed you opportunities but even then you're fucked. The fact that you immediately resort to thinking about how you can lie on your resume instead of actually accomplishing something tells me all I need to know about you, and recruiters will pick up on that shit real quick.
Elijah Murphy
You sound like a frustrated corporate finance worker. One of those tough guys on wallstreet. Lay it out truthfully without being a dick lmao.
GPAs are a joke. Any real recruiter would know that. I could have gotten a 4.0 by being a little beta boy who studies and stayed in my room all day. I make up for that with my street smarts and practical skills. I may not be smart on paper, but I damn sure can outperform most of these kids who are book smart. I have outperformed every employee at every job I've ever had. I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but If I lie about some bullshit experience and literally walk all over my competition, whats the harm? Employers would have wanted me regardless.
You don't know the next thing about me. You assume I'm a bad person for lying on my resume to get past the system. Look, you personally don't have to hire me, and I was on here looking for advice on how to go about my dilemma. If you don't wanna chime in about that topic, I don't need any lessons on whats ethical and whats not lol

Like what?
Lucas Harris
his impressive street smarts such as asking neets on the internet how to lie on his resume
Aiden Rogers
For the love of God, do not use that resume example. Right into the trash I would toss it, no interview chance at all. It looks like it came out of a woman's magazine like People or Vougue forchristsake.
Benjamin Jones
Yeh I know, I just had it saved on my computer so easy access. It'd be ideal for like an architecture gig I guess though. Def not finance
Landon Perez
And I'll ask you for your References when I very well please, goddammit. They are all bogus anyway, everyone knows that. ANyways, good luck user.
t. already drunk at 5:50pm after fucking wagecucking. CRYPTO GAINS WHENN ARRRRGH!
