Can Skycoin and Holochain coexist?

If so, how would they work together? Can someone explain the possible architecture? Different niches?

One is a scam and the other is genius. So no they can't coexist. I hope you pick the right one

I'm gonna say that both are genius. I just wonder if they are competing or complementing

No, one is BLATANTLY a scam and the other will change everything.

One is a scam coin that sells proprietary hardware, the other is a a a

they are both godcoins. I only have SKY though. Holo is great but i cant get eth on idex yet.

one is a scam the other is a pure pile of dogshit.. choose wisely

Which one is not the scam??

1 is 100% scam and 1 is probably not a scam

WHICH ONE DAMN IT

Holo is obviously legit. It doesn't require proprietary hardware.

You mean because Skycoin is premined and they're selling miners for it for 1 BTC?

Neither does Skycoin brainlet

Scamcoin

you got paid back in skycoin for the bitcoin you gave, it was just a way to weed out the pajeets without a single bitcoin. holochain doesn't even have consensus

I don't get it though. What's the point of the Skyminer when Skycoin is premined?

ITT: Trycoin shill attempts to imply relevance by association with Holochain.

THIS

it's not a miner in the sense that bitcoin is a miner where the miners are unlocking unused coins.

The sky miner is just a way to provide computer services in a decentralized way. The first service that will be provided is bandwidth, but the platform will be expanded to run other apps, other people's blockchains, whatever a computer can do.

Yes there are many undistributed coins, but after the first 25% of the 100 million is distributed the most that will be distributed per year is 5%. These undistributed coins are going to be used to fund development and infrastructure (imagine rolling out skywire in a city or a country in Africa for publicity/proof of functionality), and to get to the scale of mass adoption where many people are actually using the whole skycoin/skywire ecosystem takes that kind of funding; crypto currencies are hardly used right now so this is a plan to make the coin actually backed by an asset (bandwidth being the first asset to provide real underlying value)

The devs in any cryptocurrency can fuck you over, this project has been around for 6+ years working on components for the big picture of actually getting mainstream adoption. It's ambitious and therefore risky but the little widgets other altcoins are trying to hype up don't have the vision to actually get mass adoption

Lolocucks BTFO.

>The first service that will be provided is bandwidth
How so? Isn't the miner essentially a specialized processor? Wouldn't it just be providing computing power for the network and not bandwith?

Thank you for posting this. I usually just throw a small amount of money at popular projects just in case, but these are all solid reasons to absolutely not buy at all.

That is a bunch of lies and bullshit that Synth made up and keeps getting spread around. It's debunked like every twenty minutes in the holo telegram

The miner is a more powerful variant of Raspberry Pi's strung together, there's nothing special about it besides stuffing eight computers in a case. Chosen mostly because ARM processors haven't been compromised by Intel's hardware-level snooping additions. Also because they're cheap, and also because it one board/system is compromised, the other boards aren't.

It's cost effective and it can handle pushing/pulling a lot of data.

Yes, I'm sure that the Holo community is very objective and truthful compared to the guy that's been active maintaining Bitcoin and other projects for years.

He literally hasn't been brainlet. The BTC dev that supposedly worked for came out and said that he didn't.

You are getting scammed faggot. Also the claim that they have been working on this for 7 years or whatever the fuck has no proof either.

Holo has documented proof of them working on digital currencies for over 10 years so get fucked.

>The BTC dev that supposedly worked for came out and said that he didn't.
Bullshit. Post source if true.

He has no commits and in the crypto brahma interview he talks about how they all said he did nothing but he says he did and they are hiding it

So now your source for this claim is Synth himself, who you don't believe anyway? KEK.

Shill attempt by Holomaximalist to assume skychads need to piggyback on Holo

theyre both useless shitcoins lol

Yeah, how about instead you post proof that he did work on BTC other then him saying it like all of the other psychotic claims he has made.

It can't be proved true or false, but I have no reason to doubt it, if you listen to his interviews he's clearly very knowledgeable about blockchain and the inner workings of BTC, and he designed SKY to overcome Bitcoin's flaws. Successfully too. Sky is lightning fast, free transactions, improved decentralization, scaleable, doesn't require ridiculous amounts of power generation to run etc.

SKY will make most others cryptos obsolete, which is why it gets so much fud. But there's nothing anyone can do to prevent it from taking over. It's gone from rank 200 to 70 on CMC in the past month and it's not even listed on a decent exchange yet.

I hope you mean Holo is the one selling proprietary hardware and not Sky.

Its such an easily debunkable with Sky. Just go to the Skywire DIY channel and see the thousands of DIY people made themselves

It doesnt fucking matter if they did do work for BTC or not. Just look at the ideas being proposed.

The BTC dev that supposedly worked for came out and said that he didn't.

Is there a source for this please? I am interested to see.

holochain will win skycoin doesn't have a culture coordinator

Holochain could either run on Internet or a theoretical independent Skywire network.
