Why do trains trigger poltards so much?
Every decent country has a high-speed train network.

How? Surely you're making stuff up at this point.
It's the thought about sitting beside a non-white for 2+ hours that triggers the Jow Forumstards.
>Why do trains trigger poltards so much?
more like American poltards.
its just buger that get triggered because they can't do this
youtube.com
Maybe they are jealous. I mean, I think high speed trains are nice. But our country is just geographically too big for a more extensive train network. It’s more efficient to fly
In every thread where you mention high-speed rail some American jumps in and screeches about niggers.
Trains aren’t for cross-continental trips.
Trains are for regional travel. Atlanta to Nashville for instance. It’s much faster to make that trip via high-speed train than a plane.
I imagine they don't leave their house at all because niggers can drive as well so they can't escape them.
Because Jow Forumstards associate public transportation, even high speed trains with poor minorities.
>Every decent country has a high-speed train network.
h-heh yeah
because Republicans are supported by the oil industry?
poltards are all ultranationalistic underaged amerimutts who go into autistic fits of rage when you mention American's crumbling infrastructure
Since when?
Poltards are the ones who love trains so much that they don't understand it's a former technology and the SNCF needs competition. Let's not mention them all the trains should be driven by AI, or those poltards will become really angry.
write your congressman?
I’ve contacted my representatives because I would like our metro system to be extended where I live. But the issue here is zoning. The government doesnt own the land. The government doesn’t even own the current tracks for the local commuter rail system. It’s privately own. So it’s a pain in the ass
Trains are the masterrace of transportation.
I always go by train when I travel.
>tfw you take the night train and fall asleep to the sound of the thump thump of the rails
The train is still a fairly common method of transport in Russia for long haul journeys,
That sounds really nice desu
that’s also because central and eastern Russians are poor as shit, and weather is often bad enough where they can’t get air service enough to legitimize it. Those trips take days tho
Trains here are dirty and smell like garbage but they're hella cheap.
400km for like 2 usd
It is. How's the trains in America?
we do have rail connecting very major cities here. If I wanted to take the train from Washington DC to New Orleans I could, there is a line that does that. But the trip takes 24 hours. By air, it’s only 2 hours. How is taking the train even worth it? To train to California takes several days
Remember when you ride one of those next time
be as fresh as the guy in the green shirt
I have written my senator and my congressman.
Yes, the issue is mostly over land rights. Americans have no problem with the government bulldozing massive tracts of land to make freeway interchanges, but if they want to buy a small strip for a train track the republicans go full retard.
if there were this many people hanging on one side of the train, would it tip over sideways?
The train is worth it if you and your poor old babushka who is afraid of flying need to pack up your entire lives into a few suitcases and move to a new city.
there's the same amount of street shitters on the other side, believe it
Cross-continental is not the kind of trip trains are for. If you wanna go DC to philly or DC to Raleigh, a (decent) train is smarter than any plane.
>being so poor you can't catch a plane
>train can be anywhere in Portugal in a couple hours
>tfw no such thing as comfy bed trains
I’ve never rode on our trains before (other than metro). So I’m not sure. Like I said here tho, there isn’t a point. We are just too big
but i mean if they were only on 1 side, do you think it would tip over
Rail in America sucks.
We spend $450 billion/yr on highways, but dumbasses think a few million for a bus a train is “socialism”
There is a train from DC to Philly and Raleigh
Damn you are really dumb.
Oh. That's a little sad. The US would be such a great country to travel across in a comfy train.
If they have the time to sit on a train for several days then sure
there are other people on the other side
Sweden is more sparsely-populated than the US. Do some research.
I mean, you can. But it’s just a massive pain in the ass unless you want to spend days on the train
amtrak.com
No, u. I know people who frequently take the train from DC to NYC. rail exists between major cities.
>unless you want to spend days on the train
But that's what I like. I don't take the trains here in Europe because it's fast. Flying would be a lot faster. I just love trains.
I once rode for 18 days straight across Europe. I love it.
Sweden is about the size of California. California has trains
>rail exists
Yeah, really shitty ancient deliberately-underfunded rail that shares a track with freight and has to stop for freight trains all the time.
Not actual practical rail.
Going to the Moscow by train today. Next to the Kiev.
Oh well you can do that here if you visit us. Take the Amtrack from NYC to LA
They erode the basic freedom of sitting in traffic jams for hours.
Can I join you? I want to visit kyiv
California is building a great high-speed rail system, much to the chagrin of Republicans who’ve tried to sabotage it every step of the way.
I'm jelly. I must visit Russia one day and just ride the trains around.
I'll look into the options.
>trains trigger poltards
[citation needed]
Sure, i also planning to visit Odessa
I want to get a Southeast high-speed rail network, then a Rust Belt network.
I think the Southeast network is more likely because the cities are the perfect density for it, and Florida already has a private high-speed rail company.
Texas also has a private high-speed rail company, but Republicans have been trying to block it for 4 years. Because it’s bad for the oil business and that’s who owns the Republicans.
that’s cool with me. As I said, I like rail. it’s just very hard to do. I’ve actually contacted my representatives, and I will do so again after the election. the biggest problem is private tracks and land ownership. although i am supportive of more public transportation, I am also very against imminent domain
>Florida
ah yes
>Stage select screen
It's a big train.
i think it's just the american ones, and they are against trains pretty much just because trains aren't used much in america
Whatever you do when Elon Musk (the absolute madman) brings subways to the US - keep the billing system simple.
Make it per km, or per time or whatever. But don't do pic related.
Niggers are used as an excuse for doing all kinds of stupid shit on Jow Forums
>can't have a decent rail network because niggers would use it
>can't have a decent public healthcare because niggers would abuse it
>have to turn the country into a police state shooting people over jaywalking just to pacify niggers
>can't stop oversentencing people and spend countless billions on a prison system because the prisons hold niggers
Pretty sure at this point it would be far better and more humane to just deport all niggers to Africa instead of runing the entire country into a 3rd world shithole just to be able to avoid them and tiptoe around them being a problem.
>fahrt
>some American
that's because your train network is 3rd world tier, from experience even ours is better and i fucking hate our public transport infrastructure
>implying Melbourne doesn’t look the same
I fucking hate that about trains in the UK too
There are at least four tickets nationally, then most regions and rail operators have their own ticket type (i.e. two person return ticket), then you have various discounts, AND there are stupid as fuck peak time tickets where a return ticket is more expensive at rush hour in the mornings, even if the train you get is never full at peak times (like the one i get)
So many fucking gators in there.
Anyway, good for Florida for working hard to reform that. Florida is also home to the New Urbanism movement which is the exact opposite of that picture.
aye but only western melbourne
and it doesn't have canals
Your country is also small as shit
so? you asked a question and i gave you the answer
Same here regarding the regional madness. Pic related is JUST Vienna.
Kek, here it's 18 euro for 100 km. Still would rather die than go a pajeet train though
they're supposed to be making the ticketing system simpler but it's still a mess
Londoners of course have it easier because National Rail, Underground, Overground, trams, and so on can all be paid for with contactless cards and the system always works out the cheapest fare for you
you have to sit near other people, which triggers incels
depends on where the centre of mass of the carriage is and how well built it is
iirc they are usually about 50 tonnes, a couple hundred street shitters are maybe 10 tonnes
if they all lean out like retards when going around a tight corner, maybe
public transport is literally communism
>if they all lean out like retards when going around a tight corner, maybe
Of course not. A single wagon should weight around 40t, it's not a few hundreds kg of skiny pajeets with a low leverage that would make it barrelroll.
High-speed trains, at least in Spain, are fucking useless and very expensive to mantain.
Because I'm sure they don't get used unless they go from the airport to the airbnb villages.
>I don't know anything about high speed trains in Spain
A couple of them are ok. The rest are memes to subsidize construction jobs and money contracts to Ferrovial and Siemens.
>poltards
if poltard is synonymous with american, then sure.
>went on vacation with family in an auto train when I was a child
>slept like a baby in the bunk
>most auto train routes have since been discontinued
