I would use "diesem" here. Jenem is rarely used, although it should technically be correct. Using jenem while speaking will always raise questions.

sich konzentrieren auf should be accusative here. Most of these verbs with "auf" where you cannot ask the differntiating question "wo/wohin" tend to be accusative, but there are exceptions. Only way to know them is to remember them. Or leave it be and eventually get it right most of the time through feeling (you can always compare both and try to figure out which one sounds wronger).

I don't think "außerfalls" is a word. You could do "außer falls" as two words, but they seem redundant, since "falls" means "in the case of" and "außer" means "unless". "Ich meine, du solltest das nicht tun, außer du willst sterben" would be how I'd put it.

I'd move the "seid" in front for clarity. Also removed the "auf etwas schauen", msotly because it sounded weird to me, but I might be wrong on that. Inserted modifications in caps for visibility, to stay within your general idea. However, the sentence is still messy in german, because inserting propositions in german the way english or french does makes things confusing. I'd rather change the grammatical structure when translating in german:

ausserdem means "in addition, but unrelatedly". It is used to add an argument on top of a previous one that are both independent, but support the same conclusion.

(Argument 1). Ausserdem, (Argument 2). The dem refers to (Argument 1), and the ausser indicates that (Argument 2) stand outside of (Argument 1).

You can also use it when you try to argue something, realize after uttering (Argument 1) that the case in which you are currently doesn't really apply to (Argument 1), then you could transition through an "ausserdem" to present (Argument 2) that is applicable/relevant.

The actual term you'll find on the wiktionary will be "Dokumentarfilm", but I always used "Dokumentar" as short for it (might be due to the french "documentaire" that is also used, so the short form would be closer to the french word and thus used more).

For the "schweineartig" vs "schweinartig", you might be actually right. I would have dropped the "e" inbetween just based on feeling. "Hundartig" sounds "wronger" than "hundeartig" for me, since the "e" inbetween would allow for the word to be pronounced more fluidly (would you pronounce with a pause? "HUND artig". Or shift the intonation on the back "hunDARtig". Or not intone any specific part, letting everything flow together. All three sound weird to me.) Whereas the one with pigs flows better without the e, as adding the e would have a double vowel. The "schweinartig" would flow similarily than "Schweinerei". Though this is entirely subjective and from how I "feel" it should be correct. The thing in German is, you "can" always mix words together and have them make sense, so it's not like every mixed word ever used will be found in a dictionary. I actually couldn't find "schweinartig", so eh.

Also, sauhaft would have been a better adjective overall now that I think about it. In German, for any pig-inspired insult, you usually use the female pig as root (Sau). Though you'd lose any cute undertone you had with "porky", as sauhaft emphasizes gross, unclean and obnoxious. Maybe ferkelhaft or ferkelig could do the trick here (ferkelig would fit the sentence better I think), though you are going in the territory of inventing your own insults to fit. Which isn't too bad, transforming a noun in an adjective to insult is something people do in every language.

Part of my degree programme around international business requires me to enroll in a language to study (multiple papers) as well the region it's in. I've narrowed it down to Chinese or Japanese since they're so different from the English language and I don't know enough about the Asian region.

Chinese obviously has more speakers but that's not to say Japanese wouldn't be worth it for a business environment too given that it's the third largest economy. Practicality would say Chinese but if I chose to live in either country for work (for an international business) or leisure one day I'd much rather live in Japan than China. I don't watch anime or read manga so I can't really apply it to personal entertainment apart from some old Japanese films I like and some games.

Overall I'm more interested in Japanese as a language and the culture behind it but logic tells me to study Chinese. That's not to say I couldn't study one through uni and learn the other one later in life with the guidance of the language I chose first.
