Hello friend from India!
/hell/ used to be really active on Jow Forums until the last few months, what happened?
Also, how's the Northern Macedonia issue going down in Greece?
Since the slavs ignored the referendum and effectively stopped the agreement, the ball is now on skopje's hands. We expect that Zaef, PM of the LARPing slavs will declare elections soon.
Most people here are happy that a bad deal for Greece, didn't go through.
Speak for yourself fatass
>a bad deal for Greece
I think the Macedonians thought the same.
Anyway, how distinct are Greek Macedonians from other Greeks?
If I asked you divide Greeks on the basis of region, language and/or culture, how would you answer?
I am Macedonian, and we can communicate with no problem, the only linguistic difference I can think of is that we have a more deep accent
Do you still have mountain clans, the people from which the klephts came?
Also, is there a difference between native Greeks and the Greeks that came from Anatolia after 1832?
Πού'σαι ωρε Μπαράτ!!
You mean 1923? This is when we got most of Greek anatolians, we call them Pontians, they have a different and a more advanced dialect, but they're pretty chill
I thought the Greek War for Independence triggered an exodus as well. thanks for correcting me
I described the general situation. As most polls saw, the majority of Greeks was against the agreement.
now go back to indym*dia, leftist scum
>polls
The same polls that are wrong in all election and votes during the last decade.
Nobody cares about that bullshit issue anymore except some cringy nationalists, larpers and fascists.
Prove it
We all saw those pitiful Makedonomaxoi rallies, compare them to those in the nineties. Nobody cares
thn gamhses
We all saw them indeed.
Πρεπει να πληρώσουμε τα χρέη μας
>50k tops
>Progestin for the supposed loss and desecration οf national history
Nobody cares beyond larpers, fascists and Savvidis plants
Τι kρίμα που έχω χρεοkοπήσει ΛΜΑΟ miss me with that shit
50k in Thess alone. Considering that half the city is immigrants and antifa cock suckers, it's a pretty good number. Sure made leftists around the country butthurt .
>progesting

From allover Macedonia. Bullshit issue, bullshit protest. Nobody cares.
>Nobody cares.
Except 50K Thessalonikians and many more who couldn't be there, apparently.
I have some questions for you, /hell/.
>Was their a point in Greek history, when the paganism of ancient Greece was a source of embarrasment for the Orthodox population?
>What views do Orthodox Christians have towards Catholics, Protestants and other denominations?
>What views do people in general have about Serbia?
>Is there a social movement in Greece to move to the values of the ancient Greece and mould the language to be closer to Classical Greek?
>Do people living in Crete, Athens, Macedonia, Sparta, Attica strongly identify with their ancient identity and history? How big a role does ancient Greece play in today's society?
>Do people prefer to name their kids after christian saints or do they prefer the names of ancient Greeks?
>no
>negative
>fraternal
>yes, it's was called Metaxism, although now it's just fascism
>yes, massive, it's what the nerds read about and the normies LARP about
>probably Christian but there is almost an equal amount of pagan Greek names, also some Christian names are just ancient Greek names.
>>Was their a point in Greek history, when the paganism of ancient Greece was a source of embarrasment for the Orthodox population?
Theodosius made sure nobody was embarrassed about ancient greek religion ever again.
>>What views do Orthodox Christians have towards Catholics, Protestants and other denominations?
Practicing Orthodox consider them heretics at worst and misguided at best.
>>What views do people in general have about Serbia?
Most seem to like them afaik
>>Is there a social movement in Greece to move to the values of the ancient Greece and mould the language to be closer to Classical Greek?
If anything the language is getting even simpler whatwith all the english loanwords. There is absolutely no movement akin to what you described.
>>Do people living in Crete, Athens, Macedonia, Sparta, Attica strongly identify with their ancient identity and history? How big a role does ancient Greece play in today's society?
Most people identify with the ancients and have a general knowledge of ancient history.
>>Do people prefer to name their kids after christian saints or do they prefer the names of ancient Greeks?
Theu prefer saints, but ancient names never really faded out. Some obscure ones have been reintroduced through the learned tradition.
Proofs?
I didn't see you givin' any proof so....sorry!
I did and you ignored. So, proofs?
>yes, and it still is
>the eastern roman emperor mended the schism so i think of catholics as my brothers
>drunks
>yes, people do it by wearing a dumb "this is sparta" t-shirt and voting golden dawn.
>yes, regionalism still holds strong here
>its 50/50

youtu.be
What proofs did you give mate?
>inb4 I said it so I proved it
Woah hold on there prophet.

Hoe wuas yor dai?
Compare the demos in the 90s to those now. You're comparing 50k people across the entire Greece to 1 million
Can't you admit that few care about this bullshit issue?
