What do you mean, amerimutt?
Yes, only Iberians are Latin. All others are sons of Attila and Vladimir Putin
Based frenchmen
they consider themselves as a mixture of Celts & Germanic Franks though.
tru
actually we consider ourselves greek
Most barbaric thing they have ever done was helping you in revolutionary war
You're a barbarian too. Your opinion is worthless
I think of myself as a roman, France has nothing to do with gallia
They hate to be associated with anything latin, though
Our blood is Gallic, you ruman subhuman
The best year in our history is -52.

We used to think of ourselves as Latins after the Roman conquest, then Frankish at the time of the Frankish Empire, then a bit of random larping in the Renaissance and we slowly dropped the Frankish larping for Gaul and Latin, then since the end of the 19th century for some reason it's mostly as Gauls
This is entirely wrong and I don't know where you've read that
I am a Celt like the British with unfortunately a L*tin culture.
Mutts larping as barbarians
Would you prefer to be called Gaulic or French?
I honestly prefer Gaule than France
ignore the flag I am Italian (my cucked ISP is French)
We are romans
French is just a retarded word for Frankish so I'd much rather be called Gaulish
some parts are heavily Latinised tho
are French med? serious question
Based Gallic Warrior
yes and no
How did France and Spain get so swarthy someone explain
only in the south-east
I don't really care, both are fine to me
IIRC revolutionaries wanted to change the country to "Gaul"
could have been pretty cool
only in PACA
Some of us are
What do you mean? I don't think we're that much swarthier than our neighbours
If anything it wouldn't be that surprising considering we border the Mediterranean
Look up average french and Spanish faces on google
Tbh both names as you said are fine but at least with Gaul you would have something resembling your celtic past
t. from Cisalpine Gaul
I agree with this map, but Eastern Germany is more Central/East Europe. West Germany are bros though
my frankish master...
do french ppl have anything to be proud about?
not in general because the achievements of one's country aren't one's achievements
we are still proud of being part of our culture though
Discovering Cana...
pretty much nothing
food, literature, philosophy, art, history, music
Anything since the end of WW2? Nah not really
>Anything since the end of WW2?

Based. The Franco-Gauls are enemies to civilisation
>being this ignorant
Well civilization is pretty gay
what does tabernacht mean? im a pajeet and i sincerely dont know
>no argument or example of a great thing France has done since WWII
t. Brandon “Fuck you Hunter it’s my time to play the playstation” Johnson
it's tabarnak, a french canadian swear word that means literally nothing and is used to fill in blanks in the quebecer's speech
Quebecois think church terms are curse words
Southern France best France.
the typical southern "savoir vivre" or "bon vivant" culture which is prevalent in romance med Europe has its roots there.
Here's a wacky idea: "civilization" is just another word for Roman culture and it's not necessarily better than how the gauls were living
shame about the people
There is no argument to provide against something that is simply wrong. You obviously have so very little knowledge of France's history and/or culture, that I could only advise you to pick up a book and start reading, if you'r interested.
There have been massive discoveries and achievements in each of your categories, I'm giving you some exemples :
>food
Cédric Grolet has recently been designated the best pâtissier in the world. This is only a short exemple to show you how France's expertise and culinary skill is still very much relevant today. Not to mention how French cuisine now belongs to UNESCO's Wolrd heritage.
>literature
There has been 8 French writers who won the Nobel post WW2.
>philosphy
Some of the worlds' most famous and influential school of philosophy were developped post WW2. Influential thinkers such as Camus, Sartre, Merleau Ponty, Levinas, were mostly active after WW2. Jacques Derrida was still the most quoted author in scientific publications in 2016.
>art
Same thing really, but art is way to broad. French artists were and still are well known and recognised in modern and contemporary art (especially in the early 60).
>history
What does that even mean
>music
Christine and the Queens was recently (2016 I think ?) considered to be one of the most influential artist alive by the Times, if I recall. The French Touch is well known, well like genre that have been influential to many other artists.
This in the top of my head. So, yeah. You don't know what you're talking about.
steer clear of Marseille's KARA BOGAs and it's fine.
The only good point you made is about existentialism. The rest is just shit. Just because something is popular or influential, doesn't mean it's good, so stick your Christine and the Queens up your ass faggot
>I'm just going to refute everything you've said because I don't like it
>"no exemple of argument" he said
> Just because something is popular or influential, doesn't mean it's good
>But my opinion makes it so
>The only good point you made is about existentialism
>Marseille
I worked at a tax office there for a while, and about 60% of tax evaders had Arabic/African names while 30% had Southern European ones(Portuguese and Italian, bit of Spanish, no Greek), and the other 10% were French/Slavic with a few Germans. A sad state this city is in.
kill yourself if you think this is a cultural achievement to be proud of
Some says Marseille is even wrose than Naples but I doubt
>STOP LIKING WHAT I DONT LIKE
>If you don't abide to my superior tastes, it means your life is worthless
Who said anything about being proud, my incel friend ? I've just said it was influential. This is very popular and well liked by lot of people in many different countries and that's a fact.
>'do french ppl have anything to be proud about?'
>Who said anything about being proud
high level argument in here
So ? I've never said people should be proud because somebody produces something, I've only mentionned infuence and global achievements.
Funny how you stop answering to anything that actually blows holes into your "argumentation". In the end, you are simply a salty, ignorant incel who enjoys shitposting about things he barely knows anything about.
>blows holes into your "argumentation"
Not really, your argument is just that something is good or to be proud of if it's popular or influential. My argument is that being popular doesn't mean it's actually a high-level cultural artifact.
By your reasoning the pinnacle of our time is Pornhub
>"we wuz hellenic and shieeet"
>"aller te faire voir par les grecs" is a phrase that means fuck you in french
why are fr*nchoids like this?
never heard that phrase, fuck off amerishart
we also supposedly say "the english have landed" to refer to women's periods but I've never heard it either
it's not the 1950's anymore grandpa
Roman culture died with the Romans, western civilisation originated with the Germanic tribes and Christianity
Every non-Greek is, by the definition of the word (not ikigay)
It's just an onomatopoeia to mimic other languages, similar to "blah blah"
And funnily it was used on those they had contact with, so probably Italic, Illyrian, Persian... maybe Slavic speakers, while they never had contact with Germanics
va t'faire foutre
