The concept of Asia is hardly relevant for Asians.
Far Eastern see themselves as their own thing, same goes for Middle Easterners and South Asians. Asia is literally "Eurasia that is not Asia". The funny thing is that the Middle East is culturally and historically closer to Europe than to China.
