lol when i was a kid and pokemon cards had recently came out i had to play with the lunchables ones you cut off the back of the box because my parents wouldn't buy me any actual cards

I loved ecto coolers and transformers as a little kid, I definitely went through the pog phase, and I drank a lot of surge (a vending machine at my school sold them for 25 cents). I never did the Pokémon but a lot of people around my age did.
