Because they aren’t pussies and the buildings they live in almost always are built with whatever natural disaster afflicts the area in mind. 99% of these “monster storms” are just giant memes anyway, the worst that always happens is some flooding, which while shitty won’t fucking sweep your entire neighborhood away most of the time. Tornados are a whole new beast though.
