i just went vegetarian for weight loss, it fucking sucks and i miss meat but i've dropped 12 pounds in a week. i'm also eating a tiny amount tho. veggies aren't calorie dense so i can eat a ton.
but yeah don't do it unless you're trying to lose weight, once i hit my target weight i'm celebrating with some all you can eat kbbq or something

for what exactly? to feel full? to snack i like baby carrots and hummus, but vegan meals are actually EXTREMELY filling. a sandwich with seitan or mushrooms or something. it's filling because it's almost entirely carbs and involves lots of bread/bread products

I started by having a cheat day once a week. It made it easier to ignore cravings knowing that I had a chance to indulge later. After a while the cravings went away and I started missing/skipping cheat days without even noticing. I think it's important to give your gut microbiome some time to adjust, but that's just my opinion. If you think changing quickly or going cold turkey fits you best, then go for it.

Lol I’ve done it before, I don’t have enough fat to have loose skin. I’m 6’2 and 220 and going down to 180, went from 200 to 170 in a month once and was fine
