I have an Indian GP who barely speaks English. I went to her to discuss my depression and she spent 10 minutes talking about turmeric and how it would cure my depression then made me leave. also made a joke that 'if orange poo depresses you, then it might make it worse'. still depressed.

I was in a mental health clinic for 3 month and didn’t pay jack shit. Maybe 300 or 400 CHF. And I have to add they did a good job too. 10/10 would try to kill myself again

Spending some time in a clinic like that after trying to suicide yourself sounds very comfy to be honest

Curing depression probably has less to do with the tumeric and more with how in India everyone would known your poo is orange and hence be informed about your depression and motivated to go and help you

Friend of mine was drugged on the train and was taken to mental hospital. They give him medicine and he went crazy. When he got out he started doing drugs even more and now he's dead. So I'll say they are not doing a good job.

I have ADHD and Social anxiety on top of depression, and the one time I went to a public hospital it took them 4 hours to get to me
