I my be talking out of my ass cause nostalgia, I used to live there, but it's a nice city.
The centre is beautiful, there's a lot of students there (1/3 of the population iirc), there are theatres, museums, lots of concerts, nightlife too, public transportation is god tier, it may be small but it's one of the bestbm cities to live in if you are young
Caenais here.
You're absolutely based
For me it's Compiègne

I personally think that the southern part of France is a pretty good place to trip. But there is nothing as miserable and pathetic as Asians adore France. I hate France because four of my classmates who traveled in France and Spain told how unkind, and unpleasant, arrogant they are to Asian customers. If you are not white, do not go to France.
Barf, chais pas. Je bosse pas mal ces temps ci. Quand est-ce que tu veux qu'on se retrouve ?
ps : je suis pauvre
I don't think you realize how bad Chinese tourists are here. They take pictures of everything, are generally impolite, move in large crowds and bump into people without apologizing. I get that you guys aren't Chinese, but we can't differentiate you so it's no wonder you get the cold shoulder.
I like Avignon
i asked a madmoiselle francaise for a croissant in French at a bakery in Carcassonne and she gave me another for free with smile. you can have good time with a bit of French i think
funny
my female cousin who went to paris dislike france and french people either there seems to be a common bad feeling they felt from france
This. Non Chinese should wear a flag or something to avoid confusion.
traveling in France alone is by far the best choice imo. imagine cycling around Loire. whenever you see beautiful chateaux you stop to drop by them
for me its dakar
She was probably pleased by the fact that you spoke French to her
i came close to ejaculation 2bqhwy
It is true that Chinese are Subhuman, but your words are a bad excuse. Because usually Asians are kind to Westerners. Above all, if you are engaged in a service business that serves customers, you must hide bad feelings and treat all customers the same. Your job has nothing to do with race.
That's a very East Asian way of seeing it, but you should know that in France, the customer isn't king and may be treated differently from other customers on a whim. It's unfair, it's culturally shocking, but that's how it is.
should've been there
i get your feelings but imagine being french and having your country be a literal overcrowded theme park all year around, with all the continueous questions, dumb people, and ect that involves. i think they developed their behavior naturally, even associating certain looks with certain behaviours.
They said that French staffs were friendly to Western customers. If you pay the same cost and receive bad treatment because your race is different, your feeling will never be good. Asians(even fluent English-speaking Asians) experience uncomfortable discomfort and discrimination in the US and Europe. For example, if you order a Big Mac from McDonalds and the employee does not call you for more than two hours. These things do not happen to Western customers.
How do east asians genereally treat the 'near west'?
Perhaps Tunisians, Algerians and Moroccans will be treated in South Korea not so different from Westerners. Unlike Europe, Middle Eastern people are not so hated in South Korea.
The French are asses to everyone. Ever those in the service sector
That's not true, outside tourist areas people can be nice (except if you speak English of course).
Ajaccio because it's rightful italian clay
Didn't stop me from fucking them
lots of dutch and germans do that actually
then i'll do it. name some presentable chateaux other than Chambord and
Pour l'instant je suis assez loin de la Normandie, mais à partir de février j'ai du taf à Alençon, quand je me ferais une sortie à Caen je te chercherai sur /fr/
À plus dans le bus copain
neat, dotted it on the map. but won't it be a bit expensive if i go around beaucoup de chateaux? or is there some free-pass?
Annecy is comfy
Aix too
Kolmar ist deutsch uezs

wow tout le chateau sont long de la riviere? c'est facile de les voir
where's that?
I wished i lived in Paris...
Well it's like 300km long so you'll still have some road between every chateau
This guy knows what's up.
Also I have to admit that Paris is by far the most beautiful big city in the world. Just kill 90% of all the people there.
i've been to Kyoto from Tokyo by bicycle which is like 600km so it's like shooting fish in a barrel yes
Yes it's Avignon, I lived 10 minutes away from there for 11 years.
pretty neat desu. thank you
Avignon is even featured in this seasonal anime, imagine my surprise
Kolmar > c*lmar
isn't it Carcassonne? anyways Avignon Papacy first comes to mind when it comes to it
I'm sure it's Avignon, here's a picture to compare.
Great then, it's mostly flat so you should have no issue
Alri then, I've never been but I've seen pictures
Montpellier is near where I grew up
In the same area Béziers can be pretty as well but it's a shithole, a recovering one but still. Full of gypsies and quite dirty. The cathedral and the view on top are worth seeing tho
