Magic ones
If you take these to trip you're a fucking idiot. Do regular psylocib mushrooms instead.
delirium inducing mold
Lots of different ones, small ones, poison ones, big ones. This one time I saw a large white puff in the grass the size of a soccerball in the woods. It was so perfect and smooth and round, I didn’t know what it was. I threw a huge rock and a giant cloud of spores the size of a car erupted instantly. Never ran so fast
Lactarius resimus
Does Sudan have mushrooms? post em
No, just mold, its not a particularly exciting country
Seems dry.
we have like 5 different death shrooms. you can invite your enemies to dinner and mix in the mushrooms in the pot
The euro classical ones, psylocibes too. Truffles are a thing in the south, some search it with dogs or pigs or by looking at tiny flies. There is a few truffle markets and sometimes a truffle robber is killed.
Our cultivated "paris mushroom" came mostly from Netherlands or Poland.
we have something like 7000 identified mushrooms and new species are still being found. just last year a swedish mycologist found the worlds most expensive shroom here (pic rel). i myself can identify hundreds of them since i've been going mushrooming ever since i was a toddler. funny thing is: i just came back from hunting mushrooms from an abandoned pasture (you know what kind i was looking for surely :DD)
Destroying angel
Psilocybe serbica
Had them mid-september
Why does everything in korea look like a dick?
is it a good year for psilos where you're at? we had a summer that was too dry so now the usual places where you'd go to find semis are completely useless
severe phallocentricism in their society
there is apparently a trinity of top medicinal mushrooms. i think all can be found here. Reishi (top lef), Chaga (right), Lionsmane (bottom left)
Summer this year was pretty humid hence there were plenty of them, even when that's not the case they're also to be found at certain places in late spring/early summer if you thoroughly search for them, technically they're there until first snowfall and they're pretty resistant to weather conditions with only slight changes in color and form
cèpes (boletus edulis)
girolles (cantharellus cibarius)
morilles (morchella)
oronges (amanita caesarea)
trompettes de la mort (craterellus cornucopioides)
i don't even know exactly how many kilograms of those i have eaten during this autumn :DD
pic rel. mushroom sauce i like to make with onions/garlic, white wine, white pepper, cream and sour cream. perfect with oven baked meat and veggies. decent with pasta
I ate half of these mushrooms ITT
Of course, my favorite is
champignons de Paris (agaricus bisporus)
mushrooms are awesome
cèpes are highly seeked, but the harvest will be poor this year here
then you should try this dish
(pasta ai funghi porcini)
truffe noire (tuber melanosporum)
500 to 1000€/kg for that shit, I don't even find it that good
truffe blanche (tuber magnatum)
5000 to 7000 €/kg for this one
do you make tea out of them or what, have you eaten a magic one? Ive heard its bad to eat fresh mushrooms (normal food ones) due to cancer risk and that you have cook almost all mushrooms, what do you think of this? youtube.com
i'm a bit privileged because i live in a pine forest. there has been an abundance of them this year. much like any other year. so you can go 'cherry picking' in the forest, leaving the 9/10s to people who go later. same for pic rel. i only pick the virgin ones with hymens intact this year :D
tasty
mushroom soup, pickled mushrooms, fried mushrooms. I don't eat them fresh, it can be dangerous
interesting video (youtube.com
>puffball mushrooms
you should only pick them while they are young and not sporulating heavily. they lose their food value fast while aging.
Shiitake is common
Matsutake mushroom (Tricholoma matsutake) is rare and very expensive (100000yen/kg, or 890usd/kg)
I heard some Matsutake is available at northern Europe at almost free
Its called Goliatmassuron here in Sweden from a quick googling, it says it was almost unknown here before 1998 but has since been found to be richly spread out in our northern regions
we even had Lays with the taste of that mushroom
are they good?
>I heard some Matsutake is available at northern Europe at almost free
it's 100% free because it's not known to 99% of people who go mushrooming. it's a rarity tho. i have never found it and it's not available in most shops that sell mushrooms. enokitake is more common
they have a very weak taste. kind of like chanterelles. i'd say it's not worth picking unless you want to scare your friends :DD
