AFAIK it was even more than in the US back in 90's

as a fun fact funland used to have very high prison rates, iirc something like 200 per 100 000. but then there came a concentrated effort to move towards sissy rehibilitive system and now we have one of the lowest prison rates in the world. redivicism is slightly better and crime rates are down even if our nagger population has since exploded. still should have tougher sentences on some crimes, like with violent crimes. so us system has some good sides too.

USA isn't the only multi ethnic country out there and it still it has clearly the largest prison population by a large margin.

America has an abnormally high rate of people that return to prison across the board as I recall, you can’t just blame this on muh dindus. That and your minimum sentencing for drug offenses and constant lobbying by the prison industry who desire more people behind bars.

Crime rates in the US are not that high, despite what propaganda from certain sources would have people believe.

you need to realize that the people in government are the ones who have the authority to decided what is and is not a crime,
if they decide that collecting rain water or painting your house the color red is a criminal activity then it becomes criminal,
but of course any reasonable & sensible person would think that this is absolutely ridiculous and seriously question
the moralness of the law. Is it wrong to collect rain water or paint your house red? Laws aren't necessarily made on
a moral basis, they could be made for the sake of convenience, safety, or money, etc. The law in the US isn't always just, and
sometimes it is downright criminal in its own way, but remember that this is fundamentally a matter of authority and the public here
have no special privileges, remember that the Law has all of the legal authority and can decide when to revoke these 'rights' that
are defined in the US constitution.

It’s not rocket science. Our law enforcement is far from perfect and could stand to fix a few things, but it’s funny that people point at countries like Brazil or Mexico that are way more violent than the US and go, “Why is America’s incarnation rate so much higher than these countries, clearly there must be a problem with America’s system”, instead of thinking, you know, maybe if Brazil or Mexico actually had law enforcement that was half as effective as the US, they’d be much much safer. The US doesn’t have politicians often getting assassinated when they attempt to reign in the cartels, or white farmers getting attacked by bands of raiders. If you ask people in countries like Mexico or South Africa whether they trade their lawless states for America’s supposed institutional racism and higher rates of incarceration, they go, “absolutely you dumbass”.
