Do Brits really do this?

Do Brits really do this?

ye it's nice . but better with a drop of brown sauce

No, I use brown bread

Poor creature, your existence is a pure humiliation.

don't put the beans on the bread because it will make the toast soggy

and put some cheese and sausages on it nigger

In America we eat a lot of baked beans but not like the ones in Britain.
American baked beans have a little pork meat (and pork fat) and a sauce with a little brown sugar and apple cider vinegar. Goes well together.

Wait what

You don’t put anything in your baked beans?

American bake beans = the bestest

bread and beans make a nice source of complete proteins. I still prefer rice+beans

Yes we do. I eat it quite often. I put some cheese in it to melt. Helps keeps you warm in the winter.

t. poor

Yes. Tastes amazing when the toast is cooked well.

Even better with cheese.

I unironically had this today.

The secret ingredient is
soy sauce
.

It's pretty good desu

Yes, it's a common lunchtime meal if you've not got much in the kitchen. Fairly nice just like that, but you can improve it by adding things like fried eggs, sausages, cheese, or something like that. Comfy meal desu

lived on this when i was a uni student

Attached: RenderedI.jpg (1242x1116, 158K)

Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Grim.

lol

i expected brits to deny they do this
what the fuck

i wonder why I'm not a model and at some point in my life some fashion model scout must've assessed me and thought, nah not quite...

Corn and beans makes a really good protein. That’s why Mexicans are strong.

Why do Brits do this?

It tastes nice, it's filling and not too unhealthy, and it costs about 40p to make

Needs cheese

I do that as well. Baked beans and scrambled eggs on toast, my dude.

Good lad.

Tried some Tesco 'curried' baked beans the other day. Would not recommend.

needs pepper

They have that in the import section of my local supermarket. I was very disappointed.

Tesco brand beans are pretty shit anyway.

I always get heinz snap pots nowadays, anyone else do that? It's always the right portion size and zero mess.

sounds like a recipe for explosive shits desu

Do they taste any different to the normal cans?

Nah they taste the same

>seasoned with brown sugar
very american
also
>brown sugar
this is "juicy bits" tier

heavily based on redpills

yeah its ok, imo the bread should be much more toasted than that if its having all that liquid on it

I would have thought the sauce has enough sugar in it already

its good tho

don't like beans tbqh, spaghetti on toast is superior

Me, no (low carb diet: plus, it's disgusting). But yeah many do.

You mean sugar before the brown sugar? I don't thik so but I wouldn't know. All american baked beans have a little brown sugar.

It tastes sort of like barbecue sauce but milder. And it's often eaten at barbecues.

genuinely gag at the smell of baked beans
nasty stuff

He's not saying that Americans eat their baked beans with extra brown sugar and a wad of pork belly, he means that when you buy a can of "original" baked beans in America, the sauce in the can contains more brown sugar than the British version, and includes a soggy little wad of pork belly/fat/just-bin-it, hence the common style/name "pork 'n' beans".

British style baked beans have a comparatively thinner sauce with more tomato. In Canada, we typically have a variety of types available of any given brand (for instance, Heinz): There's "original" which is a similar but slightly thinner sauce than the American style, "with tomato sauce" which is like a combination of the British and American styles, "with molasses" which is basically just the regular American version but a little thicker and more molasses-y, "british style" (relatively recent addition to common grocery stores) which is the exact British style, sometimes you'll see "with brown sugar" which is the exact American style, and specifically here, you'll often see "with maple syrup" which is incredibly delicious and would be perfect with I guess what you'd call a "fry-up".

It's hard to find ones with firm noodles. My only gripe with canned pastas is that they are often just mush, no texture.

wtf bomb quebec now

Damn. Is maple syrup just a lot cheaper in Canada?
In the US it's pretty expensive even though there are producers in New England.

Come to the dark side, beans with brown sugar and porkfat is redpilled.

Most maple syrup isn't maple syrup at all but basically fenugreek tea.

brit boys stay slim by eating protein-rich, low-calorie food like beans
it is quite based and redpilled

no its not. Normal beans with toast and sausages, maybe an egg and hash browns and bacon and mushrooms too, is redpilled

>baked beans in maple syrup

Not keto, wouldn't eat.

But... beans on bread?
Why?
Just put bread on beans like christians do, what the fuck.

why not put beans on pizza?

Attached: british pizza.jpg (644x686, 68K)

Attached: hd650x433_wm.jpg (650x433, 49K)

not that weird, it is just not the best way to use them.

beans are best used in chili tbqh

The island in the west put beans on the bread for breakfast
The island in the east put beans on the rice for breakfast
People from continent see this weird.

Why are we so strangely simmilar?

Attached: 00004405.jpg (1080x720, 99K)

Put some herbs and spices on them so it’s not as sweet
Toast the bread long enough
Add a bit of worcester sauce and black pepper
Grate cheese on top

It tastes so good. What’s the problem?

We have thousands of recipes with rice and beans, put it on two slice of bread is just dumb.

Okay I know you like diversity. haha

pro tip

Maybe you sometimes know better simple taste of materials.

literally all of the food that makes you famous came from china why would you pull that card

>Sephardi jews
Ok, that's a joke Please.

Jesus fuck I thought this was a shoop

What's wrong?

yeah
though I like to put a bit of cheese on the toast first so that it makes the beans nice and cheesy
also a bit of worcester sauce works wonders when mixed in with the beans

ofc
perfect with some cheese on top

no need to LARP Brian, we know you're on your hols

No one really eats beans on toast for breakfast, its a lunch or an easy dinner

when will we finally do something about the br*tish question

breakfast of champions
