So I’m planning a trip to Mexico and I’m thinking of going somewhere in the green circled areas. Are there any Mexican anons who live around here and know any cool places to visit? Also I know the danger is kinda common for these areas but please exclude any areas that will get me killed within 5 seconds
I wanna see cool nature stuff, Spanish buildings or Mayan/Aztec ruins pls
Decent/Presentable parts of Mexico?
Bump
Pls
The green states are pretty safe, if you want to see Mayan ruins go to the south east, like Yucatan, is one of the most safe states.
If you want to see old colonial buildings and museums go to Mexico City, is pretty safe as long as you avoid the obvious shit like getting in a dark alley or try to buy drugs
Thx
>Tamaulipas
lmao
We've got Copper Canyon here in terms of nature, also Samalayuca Dunes.
Agreed. When I visited CDMX I felt pretty safe walking around. There were times streets in the tourist areas had no lighting though. I didn't get hurt but man were they sketchy as fuck.
Stay safe and try aguachiles user, seriously they're the best.
i herd the south you don't have to worry about cartel/murders but robbery is pretty fucking high and other small crimes.
The southeast is pretty safe, there may be tourist traps like selling fake antiques, but i haven’t heard of robberies and such

Veracruz is pretty shit outside of the main 4 cities which are Xalapa, Veracruz, Coatzacoalcos and Córdoba
Xalapa has museums, historic colonial buildings, parks and lakes.
Veracruz has aquariums, beaches, museums and historical centers too
Never been to Coatzacoalcos
Cordoba has a famous volcano called Pico de Orizaba which is usually snowy all year round and I think it's the largest peak in North America
And there's a place called El Tajin which are pyramids and ruins from the Totonac
Xalapa and Veracruz are pretty safe and calm cities, too.
I meant Orizaba instead of Cordoba, but w/e, the cities are practically next to each other.
