We were IN A UNION with Denmark for 400 years, Norway has existed since 872 AD.
We had our heyday in the period between 1066-1397, and you are completely forgetting this period.

I haven't been there but I am sure it is quite nice and not as bad as some people on Jow Forums would say.

immigration truly has made this country better. this country used to be depressing like in the fleksnes movies before we received impulses and ideas due to immigration and globalisation.

Int seems to have a hate boner for Oslo.
It's comfy as fuck compared to CPH and Stockholm, and while it may not be as geographically or demographically big as the other two it can be REALLY nice to visit.

Can Norwegians get boys mpreg? If not they're not worth it.

Jow Forums has a hate boner for Stockholm too which I find strange. Personally I found Stockholm very comfy, it's an incredibly pretty city with lots of nature and water. The Venice of the North, they say. Oslo looks comfy as far as capital cities go, I don't see how meme statistics about heroin usage will change that. Heroin users usually stick to their own parts of town and stuff like that. Bergen looks top-comfy too.

I don't mind people pointing out our history - Just point out the CORRECT history, and not your own misinformed musings.
These are the facts.

1) Norway was formed in 872 under Harald Hårfagre.
2) Norway had its heyday from 1066-1397, expanding westward.
3) Norway was decimated by the black death, leaving us a shell for Denmark to simply take over in 1397.
4) Norway broke free of the danish union in 1814, with the Danes taking away our Atlantic overseas posessions.
5) We stopped the union with Sweden in 1905, emerging as a free nation for the first time in over 500 years.
Note: 500 years, not 1100 years.
