With that said we could now say:

Anglo-Saxons, Normans (Who have maternal kinship with the Franks), and the Norse (Who were probably Vikings at one point or another) raided and settled various places in the British Isles + Ireland at different (sometimes the same) times throughout history.

All three are essentially descended from the “Proto-Germanic” culture.

You are probably right about that last part but viking was just a profession in Scandinavia, just like a blacksmith. The sons who would not inherit anything went "viking", meaning they had to raid other places to gain wealth.

Not too bad of a place to be. Would rather be in Norway or the US in my life (upper middle class), but it is at least one of the better countries to live in the world and europe for that matter. Almost applied to KTH for my masters but it didnt seem like they had many scholarship options for foreigners and it would have cost as much as a US uni anyways. Better than Finland and Denmark imo
