Rye whisky is better
i dont know what whisky pick its all so expensive
at least i can never go wrong with pastis
Unironically, where you ever seen it?
I only heard about it in songs.
White horse and Bells is dirt cheap. So is the taste.
>tfw no better whiskey song than good corn liquor by steel drivers
>drinking with the living dead is better
One bourbon, one scotch, one beer
>tfw another Russian already joined
Where are our POLISH brothers?
Good taste
Is this shit still sold?
I think so
Do you guys even have night trains with sleeping compartments?
I thought it's Russian thing.
Bump? Anyone?

Any alcoholics here?
Probably, but we aren't big on passenger trains
That's my i'm poor-as-fukk-and-need-to-get scotched drink to go, good ol william lawsons.
When i'm feeling rich I go to the aged ones
>tfw had 3 free glasses of whiskey and 2 beers for free at a hotel reception
We comfy
tried Chimay Triple. not very good. going to try Samuel smith imperial stout, let's hope that works out or i'm going to have to wash this shit out with a rochefort 10.
Go with American bourbons. Their characteristic is that the ''fût'' (don't know the English word) is new and not reused from other alcools like scotch whisky usually do. They are also not as old: you will never see a 12 year old or 18 year old bourbon (it's rare). My good picks for cheap if you can find them:
>Maker's Mark Bourbon
>Té Bheag un-chilfiltered Gaelic Scotch Blended
>Jim Beam Pre-Prohibition – Rye whisky
>Suntory Toki – Japanese whisky
>Glenfiddich 12 ans - Scotch whisky
Since you are in Europe you can search for the Grand Old Parr which is really good for the dirt cheap price. It's only available in South America and Europe for some reason.
Johnnie Walker and Crown Royal all have some good shits too.
>pastis
i tried ricard recently and it was really tasty, although it gives me a headache
Cask?
who /thrifty/ here
bit more than evan williams but i like it more
>tfw no drinking thread

Can't make a hot toddy with rye
you could, it would just be more spicy than sweet
How much was that Ivan?
Supping Russian standard and some German Brown ale
I like Old Parr, it's not expensive either.
Drinking Captain Morgan straight right now fellas. It's not high quality at all, I know, but it's drinkable enough and I like rum

It better be the black spiced rum. I still have a bunch of Kraken left but decided to get vodka today.
