VERY upset that they don't sell chicken bakes anymore

England seems to be a pastry and meat loving country.

Sausage rolls are popular in schools and bakeries

Meat pastries, cooked breakfasts and desserts are the three things we excel at. The rest of our cuisine is meh.

Haven't been on Jow Forums in a while, since when did those northern monkeys get memed?

Yes, love some sausage rolls, me.

Yeah, but I guess Lidl is the Greggs of Finland.

It's been about 15 days since I had a roll. Nothing compares to it.

They sell them at my campus cafeteria and they're always sold out because students love cheap food.

It's better than Subway but to be honest most places are

Not really, but I think if British people actually tried to export their food it would be popular here.

I used to dream of operating a british-style pub, backed when I worked in restaurants.

Not very commonly but I don't know why not because they're right up this country's alley. I have a bong pub in an adjacent neighborhood that makes good ones.
