While I try to refrain from painting all of Irish youth in broad strokes, nuance is certainly something that should be taught in schools. Far too much "You're either 100% in support of our highly liberal policy or you're a bigot" in modern Ireland.

A lot of that can be down to people being much more expressive about their left-wing views. They know that those views are not only socially acceptable but encouraged. Also that they need to protest to get things like abortion changed. I know plenty of lads, and some lasses, that are a lot more right wing in private than they would be publicly.
