OH SHIT SKYCOIN BUILDING A DECENTRALIZED Jow Forums

@32:00 he talks about Jow Forums

youtube.com/watch?v=nHGW9sVlExY

Why else should you buy SKY?

>no fee's
>near instant transactions
>unlimited scalability
>low supply
>feature that allows any crypto to be paid as bitcoin
>building their own hardware wallet for $10-$20 retail
>skyminer will be most profitable mining method to ever exist
>will be the future decentralized internet that cant be censored or shut down
>going to implement pundi x type payment options in physical stores
>all ICO's are instantly listed on the SKY DEX, no listing fees
>big exchanges listing SKY coming soon
>most passive income to ever exist
>top 10 github activity
>most decentralized crypto via Fiber technology
>project has been worked on for 6 year
>satoshi himself complimented Synth on his Obelisk consensus algorithim
>Synth is literally an OG blockchain dev that actually fixed bugs in Bitcoin back in 2010
>SkyWire internet faster and more private than TOR
>only 200m market cap, guaranteed multi billion crypto
>just formed a major marketing team that will put SKY on the radar
>50+ dapps being developed by them in secret over the years that they will launch themselves on SKY

There's too many things to list, this is just some of it. Watch the entire video I linked if you want to learn more.

Well that's the death knell for this project if the lead dev going by "synth" wasnt already.

not gonna make it. 100 SKY will generate 100 CH per hour. CH is basically like gas for NEO except you get CH per hour and if CH is worth 10 cents you can make $10 an hour with 100 SKY, making it so you never have to get a job.

The decentralized Jow Forums is already out actually, I can't remember the url but last time I checked its a bunch of Chinese spamming memes.

I'm not even shilling everything I've looked into on sky makes me want to buy and just invest in the vision

Too bad I'm a fucking poorfag

How much are they paying you Skyshills to flood Jow Forums?

how poor are you? 20 bucks each coin isnt that much when the supply is as low as it is.

i get paid when you buy sky and my tokens increase in price.

100 sky to make it in 3 years am I right?

Skyshills disclose their payment, it's no secret in skycoin community when someone gets paid to do marketing, look at all promotional video's and threads and you will see that each shill discloses payment, as is law and as is actually the decent thing to do.

I think people here are just slowly catching on to this project. Synth said this would happen, when the market turns bear people are going to look at projects that aren't PnD's but longterm value investments. Funny, the guy is actually ALWAYS right.

yeah that'll do. 1,000,000 in 3 years

this. synth is a madman and his project is easily worth billions

> Funny, the guy is actually ALWAYS right.
Why is it that Skycoin threads always have a cult-like feel to them?

because we know when we see a great project and this is it. im not a cultist, i feel a similar way towards EOS. if something better comes along ill shill for that too.

Maybe because strangers to the project don't understand the community's enthuisiasm about it. I find it hard not to talk about Skycoin to people, I'm in some groups and they think I absolutely lost my mind when I talk about skycoin. Maybe this is how those early btc adopters felt aswell.

Genuine question. What makes Sky better than HOLO?

if youre asking this question youre not ready for the red pill

Attached: tidepod.png (233x245, 45K)

So it's not better than Holo. Got you.

Well Skycoin consists of several things
>Currency
>ICO platform
>Decentralized internet
>All the shabang around it

I'm not sure what HOLO does but Skycoin does a lot and people tend to focus on just one aspect. Look at NANO, LTC etc, Skycoin is worth a couple billion just on the fact they have a currency that can do 0 transaction fee's, 3 second confirmation and staking an inflationary currency which also gives privacy options.

If you break Skydown in steps, you'd get to around a 50 Billion marketcap assuming the current marketcaps of ''competitors'' and that number will go up significantly once they finish of other parts of the project still in development.

If Skycoin delivers a decentralized internet that gets adopted and can eat a significant marketshare of things like Comcast and Verizon, it would justify another 100B marketcap. if they obliterate those competitors it justifies a marketcap of 400B and that's just decentralized internet, not talking about the coins features or the ICO platform and all the other shabang.

If they succeed in everything and become a dominant presence, then eating all that marketshare would justify a marketcap of over 1.5 trillion, now if they can also accomplish to obliterate fiat currency with their unique economic model you'd get into figures you can't even imagine. This is not delusion, this is just facts. Not saying it will happen but you can get filthy rich of this project if they even just succeed in one aspect of the multitude that is being developed.

Extremely
give you an idea I manage to put 50 usd into crypto each month

How are they going to pull off all these things? How big is the dev team?

about 100 people and they plan to hire about 350 more over the next few years

is already over 100, Synth said, recently a few days ago the dev team is somewhat 130 people now and there are more that are hidden.

For the sky shillers. Why does the Skyminer consist of 8 Orange Pi Prime boards, is it not more practical to grep a ryzen 1700, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd and a dual Lan motherboard?

Skycoin could drop to a 5 satoshis price and I'd still be shilling it to my grave, adopting a cult mentality about this project is the correct response once you understand what it aims to do:

Skywire is a distributed, user-owned, censorship reistant, internet service provider providing mesh network WiMax.

The idea isn't entirely new, but the implementation is the most realistic one I've seen.

On one hand I hate to see this project become a get rich quick scheme like a shitcoin flavor of the month... On the other hand greed is unfortunately much more motivating than ideology for most people

I'd be happy if skycoin went to 100 per coin in 5 years as long as there were enough adoption to be able to reliably get Skywire 5mbps wifi anywhere in the world.

Even with minimum adoption it would be a complete game changer, it's the most cypher/cyberpunk project out there

does it do smart contracts like EOS?

i do not have the means to compare benchmarks right now, but i think redundancy is a great plus for having 8 opis.

Cost and scalability, it's meant to be a glorified diy router. You'll need to save money on costs because 15-30km wifi antennas are the real cost (from an interview with synth who said around $1500) and those are not diy-able (yet)

No idea, haven't read anything about smart contracts. They'll make LINK adapters, I guess

Asking because I’m interested in building a miner/’router’ myself. At the moment the cost and power consumption for the proposed system and the skyminer are the same. Think I wait till there are some benchmarks, or try a vps first.

they do i just looked it up,

>mfw my /tv/ shitposts will be forever saved on blockchain.

If I understand it correctly each orange pi prime can be a different node, you can have 1 for bandwidth 4 for storage and 3 for cloud computing etc. And you can also run a different blockchain on skyfiber on a node I think.

It can do smartcontracts and also run whole programs, it's not limited to smartcontracts, you can build almost anything.
