I thought the type of aggregation is defined by the consuming contract, either to take the response from the majority of nodes or to average a range of responses. What you are describing, this complex validity score, is just a round of submit and reveal, take majority response. I really don’t see how this is the make it or break it part of Chainlink.

The reputation system and avoiding Sybil attacks seems like a challenge though
