Not necessarily, to be honest, and I hold a lot of LINK. The biggest barriers to a link token price moon are the lack of direct incentives (masternodes etc) and the technical barrier to run a node (not particularly high, but people are fucking dumb).
I'm more and more certain that to make money on this project you will want to be running nodes (and not through linkpool). People who set up nodes from the start and follow every development as a data marketplace arises will be excellently positioned to make good money out of the gate. People who sit on their link waiting for a moon will be disappointed. With a billion tokens the price won't really need to go crazy within the first few years as the network develops.
