Na man, you can't make any proper AI like that. It's way easier to program the ability to learn and let it learn things itself from data(machine learning) than making an if statement for every possible scenario ever.
There are already AIs that can learn to play chess better than any human just by playing against itself and learning from it. And they are faster at learning than humans too, they just can't learn any really complicated stuff yet like humans can.

Yeah but those aren't really AIs. With chess you are just brute forcing possible solutions which you narrow down by knowing how the other player would have to react to moves. Its not how a human thinks at all.
Same with machine learning. People act like machine learning can lead to AI but they think about how machine learning is even used. You literally feed a machine thousands if not millions of possible solutions. No human learns how to do something like that.
