I'm so happy the world hates/is afraid of us and we're unwelcoming enough to not have any tourists except those who are really eager to come here, which are very few. I don't like touristic cities even as a tourist, can't imagine the nightmare of it being your home.
Yeah when I got there it was raining, too, so people were all with fucking umbrellas and flocked under any cover so it was even worse. Worst experience in Italy, I say that having visited about 8 cities there.

Well if I go to California and see literal soyboys, people with fake smiles pretending to be happy and excited about stupid things, plus that damned heat, I might become actually depressed, like for real.
Here when I go out and see stone faces, gray sky and all that shit you saw on webms, it's a pleasant kind of melancholy.
Hell, I don't even like Russian south, everybody is so open and happy there.

What about Montana? Looked nice in Far Cry 5, and creators say it's the state where people go to disappear and that to an average Californian or New Yorker, Montana is as foreign as Nepal.
Read this funny thing about Chinese tourists in Russian Far East. They get poor Chinese who want to travel, but can't afford Europe, and their cultural level is abysmal. They get seriosly surprised and angry when they learn that shops do not take Yuan as a means of payment and that nobody speaks Chinese. They think all the clay they see belongs to China and was somehow wrongfully taken away.
Also, tours are organized mostly by Chinese, and they literally bleed their countrymen dry by forcing every tour guide to sell as much overpriced souvenirs and excursions as possible. Plus if a city is not much to talk about(and most aren't in that region), chinese guide would start just literally making shit up, fantasizing some stories that make every place significant, making up new Russian traditions, etc.
Most notable examples were when a Chinese guide said that the bus won't go anywhere until the group buys X souvenirs and another guide tried to talk two Russians into dressing up as cops and "arresting" Chinese tourists for using taxi that is not owned by Chinese guides.
