China appreciates that the world has to be filled with different systems competing with each other for efficiency. There should be absolutely zero shame in "stealing" the elements from other societies that are working. They are even trying out all sorts of economic zones in China to see what works best.
America on the other hand wants the whole world to live like they do, particularly under democracy despite theirs having collapsed totally. They also commonly employ tactics that facilitate chaos, war and poverty in other countries if it's in America's best interest.
The world would be better off with China in charge but my country is probably marginally better off with USA.
