Those from urban cities tend to believe in ghosts but it's not unusual to encounter people who doesn't believe in one. Rural town people tends to believe more in mythic creatures.

Personally I believe in ghosts as I've already encountered at least thrice.

>Personally I believe in ghosts as I've already encountered at least thrice.
Go see a psychiatrist, you might have schizophrenia.

a toy of mine turned itself on one time in the middle of the night and it was really spooky

>a toy of mine turned itself on one time in the middle of the night and it was really spooky
Okay, there are far less extraordinary explanation for that event than muh ghosts

I used to work with a guy from philippines and he said he saw a ghost but it sounded like bs

Thank you for the concern but I am very healthy. I experienced unusual cold blasts of air followed by a poltergeist act 5 years ago, I don't think that is a symptom of a schizophrenia.

Most ghost stories here are pure bs especially when they claim they actually saw one like it physically manifests.

Most common stories of ghosts here are white ladies. While I do believe in white lady ghosts, they are very rare and are often caught in camera footage rather than a naked eye.

I think uncertainty is more common.

such as?

Hi, I'm a ghost.
Have a nice day, bye :)

No. People will laugh at you if you talk about ghosts

I say leave those skeptics alone until they personally experience some spooky hauntings. I used to be a skeptic too.

desu it was most likely just a bad contact or something but it was still weird as fuck.

I was laying in bed this morning and my PS4 randomly turned on by itself

Souless ≠ ghost

Didn't you turn it on with the joystick?

If I did then that wouldn't be "by itself", would it?

Which movie is this?

Strangely common, actually. Otherwise perfectly sane and intelligent people will all of a sudden profusely argue they saw a ghost once, or their mother told them she saw one.
I stop talking to them after that.

Women with too much time on their hands fucking adore TV shows about ghosts and the supernatural, a lot of them believe in ghosts (including my otherwise reasonable and intelligent mother). Though the ghosts in question are usually those Dead Father™ or Spirit of the Cellar™ kind, rather than a belief in traditional Scandinavian/Norwegian supernatural beings like ''Nökken'' or ''kvernknurr''

>mother fucking INSISTS that ghosts are real
>won't accept any evidence
>insists she has seen at least 22 ghosts in her life, and 2 werewolves, and a green goblin
>has no proof for any of it, but keeps insisting anyway
>once made me stay awake for 2 nights in a row to film the kitchen because she thought there was a ghost
>the reason she thought there was a ghost was that a bottle of vegetable oil opened in the night and spilled in the shape of a ghostly face
>asked her why she thought a ghost would open a bottle of vegetable oil
>'because ghosts are made of ectoplasm which is oily so maybe it thought it was freeing its friend trapped there'
>wasn't joking either
>refused to sleep if I didn't keep guard
>has always been really paranoid, wastes loads of money on spiritual readings and such
>I had to memorise 100 'ghost phrases' so if I die she can communicate with me and verify it is me in the afterlife
>just things like 'I am your son, booga booga woooo' and such
>tfw she is quite rational other than this

i don't think so. we believe mostly in guilt, we live in a very catholic country

>asked her why she thought a ghost would open a bottle of vegetable oil
>'because ghosts are made of ectoplasm which is oily so maybe it thought it was freeing its friend trapped there'

If folk tales, certain pagan rituals and visits to your local sorcerer can be included there then yes, it's very common and practiced by almost every household, but in ghost themselves not that much since it's not a very Sunni thing to do

Yeah, we even have a special holiday for them

yeah

one of the Ju-On probably

is god a ghost? if so, yes

What kind of a fucking cuckhold are you? My mom told me she saw a ghost once, I said she was retarded and ghosts don't exist. You don't need to take crap from retards just because they're older than you.

there's the Holy Ghost, dunno if it counts

*tips*

No, most of us arent retarded

In my religion its said that "ghosts" are actually just demons pretending to be dead relatives or small children. There is no physical soul.

What is your religion?

no, people here are lesrned to use "common mind" which is just knowledge everyone tells you
and because they didnt had any encounters themselfes they dont believe in it
but lots of people did have encoutersbof anything paranormal so they do believe or think they might be real

I dont want to say

Why not?

Yeah women are stupid.

It’s Zoroastrianism

Oh

nice

are you brown?

sup Assyrian

I have seen one, i am skeptical but i also don't fuck with it. In Thailand Ghosts are very much in line with culture.

pretty sure most zoroastrians today are k*rds. that being said, that user is probably just a larper.

>Ghosts are very much in line with culture.
and culture is everything
so gotta pretend to be attuned with the traditions for the sake of love, or at least memorize them / present them in museums
FUCK MARXISM

You should check if there is some source of infrasound nearby when experiencing "ghosts". That's the usual culprit.

I remember I told my mom I was afraid of ghosts and she told me it's the living I should be afraid of.
Always stuck with me.

>My mom told me she saw a ghost once, I said she was retarded and ghosts don't exist.
based

No its not you retard

When you die, your body rots in the ground. It's time to grow up and leave children's fairy tales behind.

Skeletons aren't a joke.

If ghosts exist why haven't there been any pictures of them since decent cameras were invented?

>since decent cameras
there's a lot of footage from shitty CCTV ones
well "a lot" is exaggeration

Don't really believe in that stuff but my girlfriend has some spooky stories. She lives in a 200-year old building that was built in her country's colonial era. Guess the whole family's had strange experiences since they first moved in.

Said one of her friends was in her room and got bowled over on the room. Friend claimed it felt like she'd been pushed, and the "push" was so forceful that the girl twisted her ankle.

She also said she had another friend who didn't believe in ghosts. When my now-GF went into another room to get tea, the friend was sitting in her room with the lights off, texting. Apparently that girl started screaming, because this big, heavy wooden chair in the center started 'violently shaking.'

They had some other spoopy stories, like waiting to use a shared bathroom that was locked, hearing the sounds of water and buckets moving around inside, etc, only to find out that everybody in the house was busy doing other stuff and claimed not to have been in.

were there any toys that turned themselves on?

Most people even in the urban west cities here think magic, ghosts and djinns exist
Im pretty sure i have seen a ghost myself

lol, not as far as I know.

Like I said, I don't believe in spooks. Can't explain my girlfriend's stories, but I also don't believe a lack of explanation equates to "ghosts are real," either.

yes the holy ghost amen

There are a lot of people in my life that are still very superstitious, they know that others find it shameful, but they trust me enough to tell me.

Like literal college graduates who go about their lives thinking that they are oppressed by ghosts, demons, and spooks. It's actually pretty scary that you have to trust people like that in their professions

>thinking they are oppressed by ghost and demons
i mean thinking literally anything oppresses you sounds as american as it gets

The lack of psychiatrists in our country is extremely appalling that retarded anons like this one are becoming more common here.

>it sounded like bs
It is. Rarely people here believe in ghosts. Back to the time when internet hasn't fully developed in the rural areas, ghost stories are only used to scare children as a medium for discipline. Most people here usually believe in witches and spirit moths.
