Poker

Why havent you tried poker yet?

>fun
>can make a real, consistent living at it if you can reach higher stakes
>online or IRL depending on your autism level

One of the easiest ways to use the poker scene to your advantage is to play OMC (Old Man Coffee) poker. How to be a young Old Man Coffee:

1) Sit down at the poker table and buy in
2) fold literally everything except AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ, TT
3) enjoy the free food, drink and atmosphere

I saw an OMC order a cappucinno milkshake for free last time i was at foxwoods. You can really get pretty much anything you want. In fact, i even get free hotel rooms there during the week.

The casino rewards systems dont track how you play, just how much you play, so you get rewarded the same as reckless gamblers even if youre a winning player

I can't make proper statistical decisions, i'll stick with TA, looking for patterns and analyzing market sentiment fits me better.

I played this strategy some times in real life. you need "alpha-idiots" (people that believe in the alpha meme) that throw their money into the pot without thinking about what they are doing.
but it doesnt really work online. earning money with poker is not really that easy.

Yes i agree, real life games are a lot easier to win than online. The perks are better, too. Theres just a higher barrier to entry because of the buy in size

This. Playing like a nit only works against donkeys in live games who are just playing for fun or to show off. Any poker player that isn't a brainlet is gonna notice when the guy who hasn't played a hand in an hour, suddenly is 3 betting. playing tight worked 10 years ago, but nowadays the more aggressive, the better.

Because in the end, when you add up all your winnings and losses, you get 0. Only the top 1% of players make any money and it is only in the 2-5 million range.

Poker? I hardly know her.

shut up josh

Have never won hand of poker in life

What was the ico price?

Been playing for 11 years now; a lot of that time it was my only source of income. I wouldn't recommend starting now with the aim of earning a living because the good days are long-gone. It's a soul destroying grind to be an online pro today.

This

what is changed?

Same issues crypto has. No more normie money.

VirtuePoker is coming on Ethereum mainnet soon.

you won't be any game nowadays with that tight of a strategy

I used to play poker for a living got tired of the long hours and lost passion

theres too much lingo and too much mathematics for poker to be a fun game anymore, its' been played to death

>1/2 reg
Bahahahahaha

>finally the chance to use that thinking image

The thing none of you young retards understand is that TAG worked so well because human nature lends itself to a LP play style and that was what the play style predominant in the fish of the poker world in the 90s-00s. But that has changed since the poker boom. You’ll still encounter some old-fashioned fish who play this way, but most of the fish you’ll make money on nowadays at any decent casino are playing LAG style. Now what’s the best way to extract value from a LAG player? If you don’t know the answer then keep playing please.

Bunch of children playing 1d chess and wondering why their winrate is 52%, it’s honestly hard to watch on this board, but thanks for the pots.

This. Plus the fishes had gone.

I'm down for some low stakes

>letting your opponents be able to put you on a very narrow range every time

You don't actually play do you, why would you lie about this.

>poker
>fun
