I’ve always wanted to explore old civilization sites but most countries have a lot of risks.
No Peru, no Cambodia, no Iran (because of my nationality!), no Mali, no Egypt, no India
I like adventure but when i could be killed by some shitty diseases instead of magical skeletons with swords guarding an ancient temple, it would make my death way more lame

Just don't drink tap water and you'll be fine in Peru. it's literally super easy and safe to travel thoughout the country (i traveled with my car from south to north and to cusco an back to lima).
Literally most roads are brand new because that's what they've invested in the last 2 years.
