I assure you that while what they japs did was horrific and the fact that their government refuses to apologize properly is pathetic, quite a bit of information is exaggerated. I wouldn't be surprised if the allies hid some info that could have come around to bite them in the ass later.

The allies were unironically the bad guys in WW2. Germans get shat on endlessly for their racism and imperialism when the allies weren't any better. In fact, the allies were committed far more atrocities world wide and yet they're painted as the heroes that stopped all the evil war crimes during WW2.
