ss

Yup
Still haven't figured out when to use ß and when ss

It's like ss after a long vowel or a dipthong.

Why do you cunts have a discount B as a letter?

The pronounciation is different.
You use ß after long vowels and ss after short vowels.

its fluss (river) and not fluuuuuss
its grooooß and not gross

if it was gross instead of groß you would pronounce it the same way you'd pronounce the english "gross (disgusting)"

IT'S EVEN MORE POINTLESS WHEN YOU REALIZE ß IS NEVER USED IN ALL CAPS
SCHEISSE

Funny thing is ß used to be just a way of writing ss. The letters merged into a new one.
