Heres the link, Julie Maupin who brought the UN and Iota together is on a panel in front of hundreds of international companies discussing the potential benefits/potential risks of Big Data and the role of Data in our future economy
They should let Schizostebo talk, I want something to laugh about.
Xavier Roberts
>2018 >General cryptoeconomy knowledge very low, even among elites
Literally the only reason why this centralized, error-prone node software that tells everyone it is next level despite being decades old technology still exists.
Also: >Can never facilitate Smart Contracts, but markets itself for IoT ;_;
Grayson Hill
Smart contracts being introduced next week via Q you uninformed faggot
Iota is not centralized, it is in fact much more decentralized than Bitcoin. It does have a centralized lynchpin to prevent hacks until the Tangle reaches a large enough size
Also there is no errors you fucking shitspewer, the TPS is higher than ever
Go cry some more you wasted your neetbux on Link and not a tech thats actually going somewhere.
>Smart contracts And? Smart contracts on a a centralised network. Nice.
Logan Myers
Not centralized. In fact its extremely decentralized. Instead of cartel miners like BTC, every network participant is a miner.
Coordinator is centralized but its only a lynchpin to keep the network from being hacked until enough participants partake in the network to prevent a 51% attack.
Which, with microtransactions and zero-dollar data transfer transactions, is attainable middle to long term
Please educate yourself. Go read the whitepaper, or is the math too complicated for a brainlet like you?
>this guy literally thinks hes smarter than BCNext, the guy who invented full Proof of Stake
Okay faggot
Caleb Mitchell
>In fact its extremely decentralized In fact it is 100% centralized.
Logan Carter
>100% centralized Explain why
Oliver Allen
don't try to argue with him. Wont work. IOTA looks more promising everyday.
Connor Russell
>IOTA is not centralized even though it only functions with a centralized coordinator node that has a single private key and whenever this single key gets lost or stolen, the entire network is controlled by a single person. >Its not cenralized you idiot
The absolute mental state of IdIOTAs
Austin Harris
No it isnt, read the whitepaper do you understand the Tangle?
Do you understand what no central miners means for decentralization?
At its completion (Iota is in Beta) it will be more decentralized than any blockchain
But most people on here are Unironically sub 100IQ so theres not much of a point in convincing you.
Jacob Carter
Theres hundreds of nodes you brainlet. I already address the Coordinator which is a failsafe to prevent 51% attacks until enough participants are in the network.
What are you invested in tough guy?
Dominic Martin
Man I wish people actually tried legit arguments against IOTA, constructive criticism and discussion is always welcome. This is just wahwah u a retard cuz i say so. What does it even accomplish..
Gabriel Jenkins
>arguing only about a shit token that evidently does not work bhahhaahah
Its called 34% attack btw and it will always be possible, the coordinator node will NEVER go offline, irrespective of network size
Also, do micro transactions with IOTA when you pay for PoW with your own electricity and tell me how "free" the transactions are when your bill at the end of the month is in the hundreds. ;_;
Ian Morales
PoW for two tiny transactions is so negligible its the same as sending a post on Jow Forums
And what do you base your needless FUD claiming it will never work? Do you have a PhD in Mathematics like half a dozen of the engineers for the IF?
I didnt think so. More likely youve never done shit in your life, but passively judge a 4.5Billiion dollar non-profit organization and call it shit technology. Amiright ?*insert gay emoji*
Jeremiah Cook
If its negligible, then anyone can attack the network at very low costs. So there must be a centralized coordinator. What a stupid idea bahahaha
it doesn't get more centralized than that. it's a hardcoded single witness crap.
Cameron Ross
IOTA is a scam. It's not even a coin, it's a token. The Tangle does not even exist, what most people think is IOTA are just tokens on a private network run by the IOTA devs. If you put your money into it, you will have only yourself to blame, it took the dev team forever to figure out how to even write working wallet software for their token, and you think they're going to create a whole new technology?
Get fucking real. The UN thing is just more of their partnership hyping, like with IBM and Fujitsu.
t. Sold 40k in Feb when I realized it was never going where I thought it was
