Idk, I just read a lot cause I felt it was necessary to make good calls. Maybe it had nothing to do with it and I just got lucky who knows? Though it's by far easier to tell legit projects from scams after reading that many whitepapers, and you can easily tell the intentions of a project by reading their whitepaper and how much of an expert they actually are. A lot of projects also outsource whitepapers to Fiverr, you can spot those aswell fairly easily.
