>people still claim their poor even though Lidl and Aldi exist
It's literally impossible to be poor when you can get dinner for less than €1 a day.
>people still claim their poor even though Lidl and Aldi exist
It's literally impossible to be poor when you can get dinner for less than €1 a day.
>less than 1€ a day
What the fuck do you eat? Paper?
What the fuck does that even mean? Needing to pay 1 euro for meal already is poverty, how does that avoid it?
1kg spaghetti 0.59
Sugo 0.35
costa anche meno di un euro da noi.
This. OP is a retard.
I fucking hate these stores. Well aldi is OK but lidl is beyond redemption
>1kg spaghetti 0.59
>Sugo 0.35
No, my dude you really have to fuck off, nobody survives on a diet based on shitty tomato pasta
fuck off anglo scum
LIDLGANG
Why do you hate lidl? I usually go to MD/LD (italian i think, maybe it's international though), but lidl is nice too.
Aldi is garbage in America so the other one must be irredeemable indeed.
A meal of rice or is €0.17. Pasta is even cheaper. A bottle of ketchup is €3.50, and it'll last at least maybe ten meals, so €0.17 + €0.35 = €0.52 per meal.
I spend maybe €115/month on food, and I don't even try to live frugrally - I just don't like cooking, so I usually resort to rice because it's easy and quick to make.
>not getting your groceries from higher end local store
Perhaps that isn't possible everywhere, but I live in a major city so I don't hesitate to shop quality. Lots of shit of course is the same but the freshest fruit and best cheeses are worth it all by themselves.
Of course i didn't say you can eat that everyday, but i assumed OP meant you can get it, not it's sustainable. At least that's what i meant. It is possible to get ameal for less then 1€, but not to spend 60€ only per month of course.
Why?
Not gay-friendly enough?
Or did they kick you out for being a disgusting faggot degenerate?
Choke on a cock you human waste.
In London theyre in dodgy areas full of africans buying cheap meat, only one cashier open, damaged stock on shelves, no normal beer, shit choice, etc.
Sounds like home, doesn't it?
Might get your gaping asshole torn up by a nigger in the back aisle you fucking freak piece of shit.
Alright then, I cook for me and my family(5 people) and usually it's 10 euros a day max, home cooking is the way to save money
Hi ikibey!
based
kys tesco worker
Of course they are in shitty areas, that's their demographics. As for choice it depends on the size. I have a big one here and it has lots of choice. I also don'tknow what normal beer means, but if you just mean nonweird beers they do have it here. And in germany they had it too. So 100% of my tests.
>swarthy fingers typed this post
I don't see how that is against discount shops. Homecooking with shitty ingredients saves even more money.
That's not him. Iki types in all lowercase.
The same brothers who own Aldi also own Trader Joe's here, which actually is a good store
luvv tesco
ate lidl
simple as
Shit food=shit health
Tesco is a hell of a lot better than lidl, but that goes without saying
I didn't know that but I was kinda underwhelmed by Trader Joe's after hearing the hype about it. Not bad, mind you, just not very big. At least the one near me isn't.
>not having a city specific grocery store
lmao
Aldi is based.
>gives their workers a livable wage
>trains them to work each facet of day-to-day operations
>doesn't make their cashiers needlessly stand when they can just as easily perform their job sitting
>doesn't fuck customers over with bad prices
tomatoes in oil: 0,70€ per 100g
spaghetti: 0,29€ per 500g
voila, make your own pesto
Well that's all cool. I didn't know that. I just remember them for their third world looking selection. Haven't been back to one in years.
I fucking knew it!
I spit on you tesco employees!
>nobody survives on a diet based on shitty tomato pasta
lots of people do cretin
>A bottle of ketchup
>it'll last at least maybe ten meals
I pretty much live on ubereats
>ketchup on pasta
> better more costly stuff is better
Well no fucking shit. Thanks for enlightening me. I will only buy high quality stuff now.
Grubhub here. I need to quit that shit and save money but I'm not a poorfag (not a true one anyway) so whatever.
>not putting ketchup on pasta
yikes
Lidl is for thrifty middle class people looking for smart savings
Aldi is for actual poor people
I split with my gf too so its really not that expensive. Bad habit though
Lidl sells good yoghurt and they usually have offers on beer.
That's not good anyway and nobody should do that
Well it depends on what you're buying exactly: for vegetables it's usually the same quality for all the products, same for milk and sodas but if you can afford it dairy products and meats should always be high quality even if it means to eat less of it, there's a real difference in taste, nutritional values
maybe you should try it before being so fucking prejudice against ketchup on pasta
This is much better and costs less
Based. I put ketchup on pasta a couple times . When i tell italians it never fails to trigger their autism.
Afaik it's not run by the Aldi business structure. Trader Joe's is treated more like an independent asset by the ownership.
a ketchup bottle costs more but lasts longer unless you want kidney failure
absolutely based
Lidl vegetables vs market fresh vegetables is night and day difference. ( and market ones don't cost that much more anyway) . Also with meat quality do you mean lidl shit against quality butcher or shit butcher against good butcher? Because shitty butchers aren't that bad.
Mutti approves
Cashiers sit in all the stores here
>I was kinda underwhelmed by Trader Joe's after hearing the hype about it. Not bad, mind you, just not very big. At least the one near me isn't.
None of them are very big, their thing is having a moderately sized selection of cheap, high quality items rather than an enormous selection of middling priced and quality stuff like your average supermarket. You can get imported pasta there by the pound for only $1, for example.
you are a complete idiot
what stuff did you take?
FUCK YOU! LIDL IS BASED!!!
Based mongols know how to shop smart.
On the topic of shitty stores, what do you think about Eurospin? All the stores I've been to were really sad looking
Sugo is Italian for sauce? There goes another thing I thought was unique
Yes
>Tesco is a hell of a lot better than lidl, but that goes without saying
Aldi is mainly run and frequented by borderline subhuman muslims here. The greens and fruit is usually rotten and other goods are of low quality. Its legit like walking into a thirdworld supermarket.
Meanwhile Lidl is an actual supermarket comparable to the others we have in Denmark.
I've always found it weird that Aldi is an international grocery store. Every other grocery store chain I've been to has been regional and only covers one or a few states.
lidl is more expensive here in poland than it is in the netherlands lmoa
An international chain in Europe and a regional chain in America probably cover a similarly sized area.
Aldi is all over America too though
ALDI is the epitome of Arbeit Macht Frei
>giving germans your money
what about it? ketchup and pasta were born for each other. nothing is more natural. how do you eat pasta without ketchup??
>tfw LIDL isn't even that cheap here
I only buy meats from there, it's pretty much the only thing I can save money on and isn't low quality.
>There are people in this thread that unironacally eat pasta with ketchup
It only takes 20 minutes to make a delicious meal you lazy fucks. Just listen to some music and have fun doing it
How do you even eat spaghetti with ketchup? I could picture tomato sauce, but ketchup?
Walmart has more stores than both of them respectively
Aldi has 10.336 with their subsidary "trader joe's"
Lidl has 10.200
>and isn't low quality
over here the only thing you don't want to get from lidl is meat
I bet this is because of the war
A LIDL just opened in my city and people are going crazy over it. Especially the old ones. I don't get the hype it's just a supermarket?
I remember when they started opening Lidls and Hofers here and people would wait in lines because they did special offers of cheap electronics and appliances. But that was years ago
People here are making scams of discounts on the new LIDL and 40-60 year olds fell for it so much the store had to issue an official statement saying they're fake. I think we're 20 years behind socially
>Shopping at these shit discount bottom barrel Nazi Schnitzel centric food Walmarts.
I only make $17 an hour but i still buy most of my important foods and higher 3nd local source markets. They only cost about 5% to 33% more typically and aren't pumped full of mass production chemical shit.
LIDL GANGGGG
triturated tomato isnt the same as ketchup
Enjoy getting fat or getting a heart attack from being so unhealthy
