comme du sexe pur

It sounds like the way old people speak in Wallonia, but with a larger emphasis on the sounds that set it apart from standard French. It's hard to explain.
Either way, I like it.

Just for reference, this is Quebecois French:

cours de Congolexicomalisation interessant

Quebec had the chance to become independent.

It's like French but less theatrical, less feminine and more down-to-earth. Fucking hell lads I have a raging boner for Quebec

youtube.com/watch?v=Yuv_vbxu4lI
how the fuck is french theatrical and feminine

that sounds really strange wtf

surely one of the spaniard spawns could switch over

Sounds Russian

Yeah lmao it's unexpectedly guttural. It sounds like a male version of French.

Sounds closer to Parisian French than does the Quebecois

Not suprising. That's probably because Canadian French is older. Same happens with Brazilian and African Portuguese.

It's like red neck French i know that because I am in Quebec

Canadian French isn't older in any measurable way. Like Parisian French, it has evolved significantly since the 18th century. The real reasons behind the peculiar Quebec accent are the fact that Quebec was populated by people who weren't from Paris but places like Normandy, which had their own langue d'oïl dialects, and the fact that it was spoken by peasants while Parisian French is a bourgeois language. France has accents that sound just as weird as Quebec French, see: youtube.com/watch?v=m1jHUhDNkvI
They're just speaking Picard French, but we need subtitles.

>Canadian French isn't older in any measurable way

Isn't French colonization of the Americas considerably older than the Africa one?

Yeah, I dont know why he was disagreeing. The speech in Quebec definetely was able to diverge much earlier since the direct link to the mainland was cut off since 1763

Sorry, misunderstood your post. It's actually a common notion that Canadian French is an "archaic" form of French and older than Parisian French.

People misunderstand this fact more often than not though, Quebecois French is closer to the French of the 18th century because it kept a lot of vowel sounds that Parisian French lost nowadays. So some people assume that Quebecois French sounds how people used to speak but the accent its own thing and is different from the pronounciation. And even then, many regional dialects still use the same pronounciation that progressively fazed out in standard modern French in mainland France.

I bet Macron already put his big baguette into that leaf boipussy.

>switch over
Just stop speaking spanish, bro. It's easy, bro. Just change your whole country's language.

it was so much more than just Quebec though
just imagine if the French didn't participate in the 7 years war, the Americans would have been contained to their original 13 colonies and all over North America we'd have a Nation called Nouvelle France stretching from La Nouvelle-Orléans to Ville de Québec and stretching West as it would have been the French the ones to manifest destiny all over the natives in the 19th century...
imagine if French was the language of North America instead of the language of North Africa...
they really fucked up in the Americas now all they've got is Québec, Haiti and a couple French-speaking rednecks in Louisiana...

but that guy is being retarded on purpose

The french population was never large enough for that to take place. Louisiana was a series of forts more than anything else.

Australian is right. We did fuck up in the 7 years war but the French policy in their First colonial empire was never to actually settle the land, just to 1) find a way to Asia, 2) find gold and/or precious minerals, 3) convert indigenous to catholicism. If New France was to be kept the kang of France should have put better advantages to settle these lands, like the English kang did. But France wasn't overcrowded like England back then.

When they took over Canada we were approximately 70 000 while they were 1 million IIRC.
