I think these heritage are better off in a stable country that can keep them safe for the good of mankind, we just lost one of our most prestigious museum to a fire. Nationalism should not be above humanism

When I was living in China I had a German and Korean ask why Britain still had artefacts from other countries in our museums (like I knew exactly why)
I pointed out that we were in a country where they went and destroyed a huge amount of cultural heritage and they realised it was a silly thing to ask
