Why do brits need kettles? Are they too dumb to use a microwave?
Kettles
It's for their tea.
It's way more efficient than microwave
pleb/scum/yank - microwave
normie npc - electric kettle
patrician - stove top kettle master race
Loser
Just put ur cup of tea on the stove
Microwave is for solid food only, Mohammad
Utterly barbaric.
It's HOT WATER you dumb rosbif
Maybe if you put half as much effort into cooking as you do making tea your food would be edible
I don't get this convenience meme. A microwave is way more impractical. It's faster to heat up water but a kettle actually gets to boiling faster, it can heat up larger quantities of water faster (especially important if you have a travel mug to fill) you don't have to worry about microwave safe dishes, it's way quieter, and the set-up and clean up takes basically no time at all.
My espresso machine can cook water.
spotted the Brit
So fucking true
Is more efficient
Also, samovar is the king
>stove top kettle
You don't have to fear new technology Nigel, it's okay to leave the 19th century behind and move on.
I heat water using a pan on the stove, no need for any fancy electronics
>hon hon hon, nous sommes les experts de la cuisine!
get fucked
Only install an induction stove with a stovetop kettle to instantly make your water boiling, anything else is for peasants
I freeze mine for later use
Hello nan
>he doesn’t have a teasmade
Aren't all methods of heating water in a kitchen more or less equal?
>boiling water in a device that doesn't control temperature and have to calculate precisely the time because it doesn't automatically turn off when done
You can't boil water in microwave cuz it's spashes all over the oven.
I use an electric kettle because I drink 2-3 liters of tea a day and fuck leaving the room for that shit
Induction cookers are fast, too.
Also,
>not having your whole everything as minimally installed as possible
>it doesn't automatically turn off when done
argentine technology everyone
Lol do you think a microwave heats up forever? It's done when the time you put is done. Can you control the time of the kettle? Of course not you dumb southern beaner
the sound of a stove pot whistling is audio kino
>Are they too dumb to use a microwave?
That's a good way to superheat water which can turn out very badly.
Wait, WHAT? Who the fuck uses a microwave?
But I have one too.
We drink cold tea in the south (seriously there’s always some in everyone’s fridge) but I got used to other kinds of tea.
Do you actually have an induction range? How is it?
I think gas stoves are the most popular here with people who have money. But some people like electric/induction because it’s easier to clean.
>not using superior mokapots
