It takes like a year to sentence them. I'm not even sure if that Jow Forumstard that drove his car into a crowd of protestors has even been sentenced yet.

Juridical processes take ages
He hasn't

that guy wasn't a Jow Forums tard and he didn't "drive his car into a crowd of protesters" he panicked and hid the gas when a bunch of people illegally blocking a street attacked his vehicle

Shit, so they'll spend a year or two in prison before even being judged ???

Not if they post bail

Didn't they already?

It's pretty typical in my state for certain crimes. Iirc, you can spend up to 7 years in county jail awaiting trial for crimes like murder and people who are guilty will frequently try to stall the proceedings since the 7 years will generally count towards their sentence and county jail is way friendlier than a supermax prison.

Facing murder charges, at least in my state, you're typically denied bail. Anyone know what they were officially charged with?

whats the deal with energetic drinks?

it is a meme from kc about finnish youth

They're out on bail and awaiting trial

spoiler alert: they wont get convicted.

>meme about finnish

as always

Oh I understand, thanks for the input!
They have been charged with first degree murder from what I read on internet.
They're not out on bail anymore apparently star-telegram.com/news/local/community/fort-worth/article218869775.html

Why can the bail be raised like that afterwards btw ?
This bail thing seems to be kind of a meme, I mean, I know the US were made for rich people but to such extent

You can often get your pre trial timed serve to count more than it actually was.

save the taxpayers money and give them the adult abortion

I think they bailed at first for like $5k but then they arrested them again and raised it to $25k or $100k or something.

we should start panicking in such ways around fascists too.

It's from Jow Forums, isn't it?

You have to go back.

Wait, what the fuck? Doesn't this violate the 5th amendment? 7 years isn't a speedy trial.

>The US government doesn't actually give a fuck about the bill or rights
You must be underage to not know this already.

I'm just amazed no one's sued the government for this yet.

thats the sixth amendment
