Why do the Russians on Jow Forums hate their country so much?

There is a massive selection bias present in the kind of Russians who end up on Jow Forums. Most of them are relatively high IQ nerdy social outcasts who are often also gay or trannies. This is because normal Russians are very chauvinistic and are very unlikely to stray far from their own internet communities. The exception is diaspora posters who present a much more representative slice of the Russian population and have been forced to use the English language internet out of necessity rather than choice. Hence why you see Russian flags shitting on Russia and an assortment of other flags defending every retarded thing they've ever done.

People with an IQ under 100 are generally not able to master even their own language, let alone another. Neither can they freely employ abstract concepts. Grammar and vocabulary are not perfect proxies for intelligence but they make for a decent first order approximation. I'd say most Russian posters here are above average judging by how the write. If you don't believe me go to facebook and read through some posts made by actual average people.

It is generally pretty obvious when someone is deliberately using big words in an attempt to sound smart, compared to somebody using smartypants terminology organically. In addition, you can use things like the complexity of syntax and general readability as indicators too. Low IQ people tend to do things like use short abrupt sentences, skip out on explicitly defining their implicit assumptions and hopelessly wander off mid sentence.
